Ferrari FF – breaking with the past – rpmGo.com

Ferrari FF

Yesterday was one of the most important days in Ferrari’s history – the world premiere of the new Ferrari FF. If you’ve watched it yesterday, you probably saw that the new model is very important for the automaker, all of the people present from Ferrari were really excited, maybe except for Massa who was a little bit shy.

They’ve said that the Ferrari FF is one of the most innovative cars launched in the last years and it will open up a new car segment. Featuring a powerful V12 engine that produces 660 hp, it will offer a lot of performance and unprecedented versatility while keeping the CO2 emissions to only 360 g/km.

The FF benefits from a new four-wheel-drive system that will allow drivers to take the car on harder terrains, which is something new for a Ferrari model. I am really curios to see how the car handles on rough terrain. It will be able to do the 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds while at the same time offering enough space for four passengers. They also said that the FF offers an 800-liter boot and will be available in 6 exclusive colors. Another interesting figure is the break distance: 35 m from 100 to 0 km/h, coming to a full stop in just 2.3 seconds.

They said that the FF intends to be a different Ferrari for every owner. The Italian car maker even called it their most satisfactory product. Of course, the FF is still 100% Ferrari, but the presentation emphasized the usability of the car in rough weather and hard ground conditions.
