Geneva 2011 – Mini Clubman Hampton – rpmGo.com

Mini Clubman Hampton

I have to say that I never liked the Mini Clubman and this Hampton edition doesn’t strike my interest. It was built in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Countryman / Traveller and comes with an exclusive Reef Blue metallic exterior with tinted headlights, Twin Blade alloy wheels and special badging.

The cabin of the Clubman Hampton has been fitted with black leather seats, a unique instrument cluster, an anthracite roof liner and special floor mats. This Mini has also been equipped with ambient lightning, automatic climate control and a new sport steering wheel.

The model will be offered with a bundle of engine choices, like the 1.6-liter naturally-aspired gasoline plant that produces 121 hp (123 PS / 90 kW) plus a more powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged unit that cranks out 181 hp (184 PS / 135 kW). There are also two diesel engines available, a 1.6-liter that outputs 110 hp (112 PS / 82 kW) and a 2.0-liter that delivers 141 hp (143 PS / 105 kW).
