For those of us in the Northern hemisphere, times are changing and the long winter months are approaching rapidly. This is a great time to get your car checked out so that you won’t end up by the side of the road during a snow storm or even worse.
That is why the United States Car Care Council has named October Car Care month, in order to remind drivers from all around the country to take their precious vehicles for an inspection so that surprises won’t appear when you least expect them.
This initiative also brings some great news for Subaru owners, as the Japanese company announced that any driver can bring his or her car in any authorized service for a free inspection. Reported by the GreenCarExaminer, the “Ready for anything” initiative will be offered throughout the month of October, and might even be coupled to special promotions from different dealers which will provide special prices for brake pad changing and any other simple task.
Even if you don’t own a Subaru, consider this month a great time to have your vehicle checked out.
