Honda officially reveals its HSV-010 SuperGT racer: the NSX successor that never was | Rpmgo.com

Honda, after many rumors, speculations and other such things, has finally presented the HSV-010 GT race car, which will run in the Japan’s SuperGT championship. This model, sadly, is the only glimpse we will get of a successor to the supercar legacy that the NSX created back in the 1990s.

The race car uses a 3.4-liter V8 engine, which although may sound small, produces 496 HP and 289 lb-ft (392 Nm) of torque, plenty to get the 2,425 pounds of the car up to dizzying speeds and around the numerous tracks included in the SuperGT championship.

Even though you won’t see it on the road, you can check out the Honda HSV-010 GT in the photo gallery below.
