The C-X16 Concept is motivated by a V6 3.0-liter engine that churns 375 hp (380 PS / 280 kW) and has a peak torque of 332 lb.-ft (450 Nm), mated to an eight-speed transmission with a built-in motor generator. The latter draws its power from a 1.6 kWh battery pack and generates 95 PS and 173 lb.-ft. This additional boost is activated by the “Push to Pass” button located on the steering wheel. In order to feed the batteries, the sexy coupe benefits from regenerative braking.
