Lamborghini presented officially the new Lamborghini model named Sesto Elemento, created integrally by carbon fiber. By far this is the fastest Lamborghini model ever created by this manufacturer and below I will present some of the reasons that made me believe this.

With only a weight of 999 kg, a V10 engine and permanent integral traction, Lamborghini is redefining the future of super sport cars. The V10 engine of 5.2 liters develops 570 HP, the vehicle having in this way a report power/weight of only 1.75 kg per horse power. With acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hour made in only 2.5 seconds, the fastest Lamborghini model called Sesto Elemento guarantees a driving experience without precedent. In the same time, the fuel consume is very low because of the weight extremely low of this car. The maximum speed is over 300 km/h, according to the official press communicate.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a prevision for the future of the super sport cars – vehicles with a very low weight, combined with extreme performances in order to result a driving like never before. It was used all the technology competence of the Lamborghini factory in only one shape to create the fastest Lamborghini named Sesto Elemento. This was the declaration of Stephan Winkelmann, the president and CEO of the Lamborghini Automobili. He also affirmed that their abilities in carbon fiber technology lead to the creation of such a revolutionary concept and of course because of the experience in building cars with light material of the engineers in Audi AG. This technological advantage will be applied to all models from that moment and every future Lamborghini will have a part of the Sesto Elemento spirit.

Named Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (the sixth sense), this vehicle is built integral of carbon fiber having a weight of only 999 kg and this is making it the first super sport car ever created that is under one ton weight.

By this model Lamborghini redefine the future of their super sport cars that are bought of two reasons: design and performances. Tradition like value is however living at Lamborghini next to the innovation. The design was always number one reason and now the creators of Lamborghini will assure that all their models to be recognized through their unique style.

Regarding the performances, until few years ago the priorities were: maximum speed, acceleration and easy Lamborghini driving. In the past few years, those priorities changed. Speed is not that important anymore because all the super sport cars can easily exceed 300 km/h and this value can’t be reached only on the special race fields. From this reason Lamborghini affirmed that is time for a change and this is the main reason that a bigger accent is put on acceleration and easy Lamborghini driving.
