Mansory Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
We’ve talked about several tuning programs today and the last one that we would like to mention is for the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG. The house of Mansory has introduced its tuning kit for the CLS 63 AMG at the 82nd edition of the Geneva Motor Show. As you probably know, Mansory is a tuner from Brand, Germany that really likes carbon fiber.
Mansory Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
You can easily see this on the CLS 63 AMG shown at the event in Switzerland which features a wide body kit that expands the front wings by 50mm and the rear wings by 80mm. In addition, the bodykit comes with new side sills and cladding, while the hood adopts a different design. Carbon fiber was used to cover just about all of the car’s front, while at the back we notice a new bumper fascia which is defined by a diffuser that the tuner mentioned that it can increase the downforce of the CLS 63 AMG in cooperating with the rear spoiler. The Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG by Mansory is riding on 20-inch ultra light forged alloys that come with 305/25ZR20 tires for the wheels in the back while the front rims get 265/30ZR20 rubbers.
Mansory Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
At the heart of the car is the same V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine which in its standard configuration delivers 550 hp (557 PS / 410 kW) and a peak torque of 590 lb.-ft (799 Nm). The German tuner was able to increase the output of this power unit to no less than 631 hp (640 PS / 471 kW) and an impressive maximum torque of 664 lb.-ft (900 Nm) available between 2,000 rpm and 4,500 rpm. They managed to lift the power of the V8 engine by installing a new sports air filter and a programmed control unit.
Mansory Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
Inside the cabin of this Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG by Mansory we find aluminum footrests and pedals, along with full leather upholstery, various carbon fiber trim pieces, deluxe entry sills and floor mats, plus a redesigned steering wheel which is now more ergonomic in comparison to the standard wheel.

Brabus Bullit Coupe 800
One of the many cars that tuners have brought to this year’s edition of the Geneva Motor Show was the Brabus Bullit Coupe 800. As you’ve probably figured this by now, the tuning program is for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe. In fact, it is more than just a tuning job since Brabus has ditched the original V8 6.3-liter engine found in the standard model.
Brabus Bullit Coupe 800
They’ve replaced it with a massive V12 Biturbo power unit that is capable of producing 800 hp (588 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,047 lb.-ft (1,420 Nm). According to Brabus, the Bullit Coupe 800 needs only 3.7 seconds to do the 0-62 mph sprint, on its way to a maximum speed of 230 mph (370 km/h). It needs only 23.8 seconds from start until the odometer reaches 300 km/h.
Brabus Bullit Coupe 800
The body of the C63 AMG Coupe suffered some modifications in order to squeeze in that huge V12 engine which is now linked to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and has a limited slip differential with a 40% locking rate. This powerful coupe features no less than four water-to-air intercoolers and two exhaust manifolds with integrated turbos.
Brabus Bullit Coupe 800
Since the original body of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe was not built for these speeds, the engineers from Brabus have installed a new aerodynamic bodykit that comes with a carbon front spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts and a boot lid spoiler. The vehicle’s rear apron has four built-in ceramic-plated tailpipes.
Brabus Bullit Coupe 800
The coupe is now riding on 20-inch alloy wheels and features a height-adjustable Bilstein coilover suspension. The stopping power of this impressive Bullit Coupe 800 from Brabus comes from the 15 x 1.45-inch discs with 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers for the front wheels, while at the back it packs 14.2 x 1.1-inch discs that have 6-piston fixed aluminum calipers.
Brabus Bullit Coupe 800
No word at the moment regarding the price tag of the Brabus Bullit Coupe 800, but this tuning program certainly won’t come cheap since it has a V12 engine.

Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 by Vath
The tuning kit developed by Vath is for the SLK 350 model which as you probably know is motivated by a V6 3.5-liter gasoline engine that pumps out 302 hp (306 PS) and a peak torque of 272 lb.-ft (370 Nm). The tuner has managed to increase the output of the engine to 326 hp (330 PS) and 288 lb.-ft (390 Nm), allowing the car to hit a maximum speed of 167 mph (269 km/h).
Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 by Vath
The German tuner has installed a new sports exhaust system in the SLK 350, along with an adjustable suspension which gives the driver the possibility to lower the height of the vehicle from 20 to 65 mm. Other than that, the car benefits from a new aerodynamic package that brings new side skirts, a boot lid spoiler, carbon fiber front and rear apron.
Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 by Vath
The Mercedes-Benz SLK 350 by Vath is riding on 20-inch forged alloys wrapped around in 235/30ZR20 rubbers at the front, while the back wheels have 265/25ZR20 tires. Inside the cabin it benefits from a carbon fiber trim kit.

Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
At the 82nd edition of the Geneva Motor Show, the German automaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced the SL63 AMG and now we have official details about its bigger brother, the SL65 AMG which is the top-ranging model of the SL class. This new model features an aluminum body shell along with other weight-saving measures that the less powerful cousins have, managing to lower the weight of the car by 170kg to 1950kg, which is still a lot in our humble opinion.
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
Anyway, at the heart of the all-new Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is an updated version of the V12 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that powered the older model, but it has suffered a few modifications in the inlet and exhaust systems. While the previous version of the engine managed to deliver 603 hp, the new SL65 AMG packs no less than 621 hp which is more than the SLS model. This amount of horsepower is available between 4800 and 5400 rpm, offering the two-seat roadster a power-to-weight ratio of 318 hp / ton. The maximum torque generated by the engine is limited to 737 lb.-ft which is available between 2300 and 4300 rpm.
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
This means that the engine produces 91 hp and 111 lb.-ft more than one found in the SL63 AMG which is a V8 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged unit. At the same time, it generates 64 hp and 73 lb.-ft more than the SL63 AMG version fitted with the Performance Package (optional feature), which by the way can’t be ordered for this new SL65 AMG.
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
This impressive V12 power unit is driving the rear wheels of the car through the company’s seven-speed 7G-tronic automatic gearbox. The engine comes with a whole bunch of BlueEfficiency features, including the automatic stop/start function. As for the SL63 AMG, this one utilizes a less impressive 5G-Tronic gearbox which has been around for a good chunk of time.
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
Thanks to these hardware modifications, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is 17% more efficient and is capable of returning 24.4 mpg UK, while CO2 emissions stand at 270 g/km. The car needs only 4 seconds to do the 0-62 mph sprint, which is 0.3 seconds quicker than the SL63 AMG. The maximum top speed achieved by the SL65 AMG is electronically limited to 155 mph.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG
The German automaker Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a couple of weeks ago the all-new SL63 AMG model that is motivated by the twin-turbocharged V8 5.5-liter engine that is capable of producing 530 hp (537 PS / 395 kW). The car features an all-aluminum bodyshell and comes with a bunch of components made from magnesium which helped for lowering the curb weight by 242 pounds (110 kg) over the predecessor which had a steel body.
2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG
Thanks to these modifications, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is able to run the 0-62 mph sprint in 4.3 seconds. If fitted with the AMG Performance Pack, the sprint time is reduced by 0.1 seconds. Compared to the model it replaces, the new SL63 AMG is 30% more fuel efficient and manages to return 28.5 mpg on the combined cycle, while the CO2 emissions stand at 231 g/km, whereas the older model emits 328 g/km.

Mercedes-Benz B-Class by Brabus
The all-new Mercedes-Benz B-Class has been launched in the Europe a few weeks ago and the German tuner Brabus has already developed an upgrade program for the small MPV. The outside of the vehicle features a new aero kit that includes a front spoiler which can be attached directly to the standard front bumper, along with a rear apron that houses a diffuser and quad tail pipes.
Mercedes-Benz B-Class by Brabus
Clients are able to choose from one of the five available alloy wheel designs that measure 19 inches and are wrapped around in 225/35 R 19 tires in the front and 255/30 R 19 rubbers at the back. The B-Class is brought 30mm closer to the ground thanks to the installation of a suspension lowering kit that has sports springs which should improve the handling of the car.
Mercedes-Benz B-Class by Brabus
Inside the cabin Brabus offers a bunch of upgrades, like aluminum door lock pins, bi-color stainless steel scuff plates, multimedia systems and custom leather upholstery.

Mercedes-Benz Citan
The German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has previewed the other day a brand new entry-level van named Citan which will make its official debut this September at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show. They’ve come up with the “Citan” designation by combining the words “city” and “titan”. Clever, right?
Anyway, when this will be launched in the production version it is going to be the fourth model in the company’s commercial vehicle family, joining the Vito (2.77 to 3.2 tons), Sprinter (3.0 to 5.0 tons) and the Vario (6.0 to 8.2 tons).
Mercedes-Benz Citan
The Citan will be available as a crewbus, a panel van and also a mixed-use vehicle. Just as the rest of the models we’ve mentioned, the Citan will be sold in a wide variety of weights and lengths. We don’t have any details regarding the specifications of the vehicle but we do know that in the engine lineup it will feature low-emission gasoline and diesel engines, along with the company’s BlueEFFICIENCY package.
Mercedes-Benz Citan
Mercedes-Benz is also planning an electric version of the Citan, but we don’t know if it will adapted from the Vito E-Cell or it will be an entirely new one designed specifically for the Citan. We will have more information about the vehicle in September.
The vehicle is expected to be launch shortly after its debut at the IAA Commercial Show in Hanover, Germany.

The car was expected to be sold for somewhere around $2,500,000 and $3,000,000, but in the end managed to grab a lot more than that. It shouldn’t come as a surprise taking into consideration that Mercedes-Benz manufactured only 29 units of the aluminum-bodied 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing so we’re dealing with a rare automobile.

Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID
The German automaker Mercedes-Benz will be bringing to the upcoming Detroit Motor Show the hybrid version of the E-Class. At the show which will be organized in January we’ll see the E300 BlueTec that will be available in both sedan and estate versions. Under its hood it will be a 4-cylinder 2.1-liter turbocharged diesel engine. The carmaker will also be bringing the U.S.-only E400 which is powered by a gasoline engine.
The Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTec has CO2 emissions of only 109 g/km, which is 40 g/km less than the gasoline-powered BMW Active5 Hybrid. Its diesel engine is capable of developing 201 hp and a peak torque of 369 lb.-ft, and it is linked to a 27 hp / 184 lb.-ft brushless electric motor which is installed inside the gearbox housing.
The 0.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack will be able to provide an all-electric range of less than a mile at speeds below 35 mph. The car should be able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in a decent 7.5 seconds and will be able to hit a top speed of 150 mph.
The E300 BlueTec will be capable of returning 67.3 mpg UK on the combined cycle, thanks to a series of fuel-saving techniques, like brake energy recuperation, stop/start system, low rolling resistance tires and a sailing mode. This means that the car will be 9.6 mpg UK more economical than the current E250 CDI sedan.
As far as the aforementioned U.S.-only E400 is concerned, this one will have a V6 3.5-liter engine linked to the same electric motor as the one in the E300. The car will be able to deliver 32.4 mpg US.

VATH V63
The tuners from Vath Automobiltechnik located in Hoesbach, Germany have worked on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe and they’ve come up with this beast which they’ve named the VATH V63. The regular AMG version of the car is capable of producing 480 hp (487 PS / 358 kW) and 443 lb.-ft (600 Nm) which for some would be more than enough.
VATH V63
The German engineers had a different opinion and they’ve increased the output of the engine to 670 hp (680 PS / 500 kW) and a peak torque of 620 lb.-ft (840 Nm). Thanks to the power boost, the C63 AMG Coupe by VATH is able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 4 seconds, en route to a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h).
VATH V63
They’ve managed to increase the output of the engine by installing new headers, a stainless steel exhaust system, a water cooled supercharger, oil coolers on the engine and trans, high-flow catalytic converters and revising the management of the engine.
VATH V63
They also worked on the car’s aerodynamics and installed a new front spoiler as well as a rear diffuser which has enlarged fins. Both of these components have been manufactured form carbon fiber. The exterior also features quarter panel wheel extensions that widen the track by 80 mm, along with a boot lid spoiler.
VATH V63
It rides on a new set of three-spoke VATH 9×20-inch forged wheels with 225/30-20 tires in the front and 11×20-inch forged rims at the back that are covered in 295/25-20 tires. The stiffness of the car is now adjustable, just like the coilover suspension which allows for a drop between 20 to 65 mm.
Inside the cabin, the VATH V63 comes with a new speedometer dial that goes all the way up to 360 km/h, a carbon trimmed interior as well as leather upholstered sports steering wheel.
Without the car, the tuning program will set you back 64,308 Euros.
