German tuner Kicherer developed a new tuning program for the facelifted Mercedes Benz SL63. Dubbed “Evo”, the program features an aggressive caron fiber bodykit and a set of mechanical upgrades, which turned the SL into a true beast (not that it wasn’t already). Under the bonnet, Kicherer engineers decided that the 6.2 liter V8 engine is not powerfull enough, so they’ve upgraded it to 560hp (425kW) (525hp (392kW) on the ‘regular’ model) and 495lb-ft (670Nm). Performance figure? Impressive, of course. 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than the standard), 0 to 125 mph (200km/h) in 14.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed to 320km/h.
The package also includes ultra-light 20 inch RS-1 wheels, F1-style steering wheel with carbon gearshift paddles, additional instruments and extra carbon trim, all for €21,765 (approximately $32,175).
