I’m sure many of you are also into video games as much as into cars, and this means that you might have heard of the Gran Turismo franchise, which has appeared up until now exclusively on PlayStation consoles. The next, highly awaited iteration will be Gran Turismo 5, which, sadly, still hasn’t gotten a concrete release date.
But when it will be out, eventually, it seems that it will allow players to grab the virtual steering wheel of the newly released Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing, which premiered at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week. We don’t know if these images are actually in-game, but knowing the stunning graphics that the franchise has gotten us used to, they just might be.
Hopefully this means that the team at Polyphony Digital is working hard on GT5 and will release it soon enough, perhaps at the beginning of next year.
