Morgan announces Roadster 3.7

One of the three cars that Morgan will be bringing this month at the Geneva Motor Show is this Roadster 3.7 which will have a Cyclone V6 3.7-liter engine and a curb weight of only 950 kg. The output of the engine is rated at 280 hp (194 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 300 lb.-ft (352 Nm), meaning that it will offer a 295 hp / ton power-to-weight ratio.

The new Morgan Roadster 3.7 is capable of doing the 0-62 mph sprint in 4.9 seconds and it will have a six-speed manual gearbox, along with a limited slip differential. The British roadster will have a fuel consumption of 7 liters / 100 km on the highway and 14.7 liters / 100 km while driving in the city, while CO2 emissions stand at  230 g/km.

This roadster measures 4010mm in length, 1720mm in width and 1220mm in height, while the fuel tank has a capacity of 55 liters. Other features worth mentioning include an electronic warning system, air conditioning, a stopwatch, digital and analogue displays, along with a bunch of wood trim elements.
