You will get the vehicle insurance policy documents within 5-7 business days. If you haven’t got the papers after 10 business days, you should give them a call at 0845 640 5920 and they will send duplicate copies.
You can cancel the Nationwide car insurance up to 14 days after you receive the documents. You will get a full refund minus a charge for the cover you have had and a cancellation charge for establishing the car policy. After the first 14 days, if you haven’t made a claim, they will refund you with any money that you’ve paid, except for a cancellation charge. Remember that you will not be able to get a refund if you have made a claim. If the amount of money due to the company when you cancel the policy is higher in comparison to what you have paid, you’ll be asked to pay for the difference. This includes paying the rest of the premium due for the policy if you have chosen monthly payments and you’ve made a claim.
