Nissan Juke-R goes official

Nissan Juke-R

The Japanese automaker Nissan has unveiled the hot version of the Juke at a press event organized in Malaga, Spain. The extreme compact crossover is powered by a V6 twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine from the GT-R and has been fitted with a modified version of the coupe’s four-wheel-drive system along with the 6-speed transaxle.

They’ve made two units of the Juke-R, one with left-hand drive and one with right-hand drive. Both cars have been developed by the automaker and are being built by RML in collaboration with Nissan Technology Center for Europe. The testing process for the Nissan Juke-R will start next month.

No words at the moment about a production version but if the feedback is positive, the car maker might change its mind.
