Fast Five fans can now view a close-up of one of the cars used in the lastest Fast and Furious movies.
This silver beauty is waiting to be potographed at Universal Citywalk in Los Angeles starting this week.
Bombardier Can-Am Spyder
Moto Limos Club will soon start the first motorcycle taxi service to help people on-the-go make their way onto the streets of New York and Los Angeles. This idea isn’t new, because similar taxi services have been around in Europe for years, but in the United States, this is a first. The company will offer 15 units of the 2012 Honda Goldwing, with or without a trailer. In addition, there are going to be an undisclosed number of Bombardier Can Am Spyder trikes, which look astonishing if you ask me.

The specialty German marquee Melkus brought to this year’s Top Marques show in Monaco the RS2000 GT and GTS models, which are two variants of a lightweight sports coupe, and both of them are fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that was supplied by a “well-known German manufacturer”, according to the company.
The entry-level GT model delivers 296 hp (300 PS / 221 kW), enough for a 0-60 mph sprint in 4.5 seconds. The more powerful version, the GTS, cranks out 345 hp (350 PS / 257 kW) and has a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h), while 0-60 mph is done in only 3.9 seconds.
Both models feature adjustable dampers for the suspension along with AP performance brakes. Thanks to using a lot of carbon fiber components, they’ve managed to get a curb weight of only 2205 lb (1000 kg). This lightweight material was used for the front spoiler, rear diffuser, rear wing and the side air guides.
Most of the sports cars we talk about here on rpmGO are beautiful, but today we are going to make an exception. This ISIS AM01 has to be the ugliest car I’ve seen lately. However, all is not that bad with this car as it’s powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine borrowed from a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. This 4-cylinder power plant produces 275 hp and has a peak torque of 258 lb.-ft (350 Nm). This power is transmitted to the rear wheels via the 5-speed manual gearbox.
It is the creation of a Dutch company called Isis Cars that is managed by Anton van Nunen and Max Alting Siberg. The car is actually based on another coachbuilt from Holland, the Saker. It has a curb weight of only 1,874 pounds (850 kg), and can do the 0-60 mph sprint in 4.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 162 mph (260 km/h).
The looks are awful; the engine is not that powerful, the gearbox is ordinary, so you would expect that the price tag is reasonable, right? Well, it isn’t. Priced at $174,000, you’d have to be pretty insane to spend that kind of money for this AM01 sports car, when there are plenty of more attractive, faster and affordable alternatives to choose from.
But wait, there’s more. Isis Cars is working on the AM02 model, which will have a 3.0-liter engine that will deliver 400 hp. Price? $203,000.

Spada Codatronca Monza
At the beginning of this month we talked a little bit about the Spada Codatronca Monza, but now we have some live photos (courtesy of AutoBlog.nl) from the Top Marques Monaco where the car got its official debut.
Spada Codatronca Monza
This track-focused sports car is powered by a heavily modified 7.0-liter V8 engine borrowed from the Chevrolet Corvette, mounted behind the front seats. This power unit has been fitted with two superchargers, increasing the output to 700 hp and a massive peak torque of 700.6 lb.-ft (950 Nm). With a curb weight of only 2,602 pounds (1,180 kg), the Monza is able to sprint to 60 mph in only 3 seconds, before hitting a maximum speed of 208 mph (335 km/h).
Khodro Soren ELX
Cars running on natural gas are not very popular around the world, except for several countries like Brazil, Iran and India. In United States there are only a few and if you ask someone to name an alternative fuel, the first answer they’ll have is probably ethanol. In other parts of the world, 2% of all cars are running on natural gas so this shouldn’t come as a surprise that automakers are starting to research on this technology.
Fiat is already selling a bunch of natural-gas vehicles (aka NGVs) in Europe and South America, and most likely Chrysler will do the same thing in the years to come as part of making its lineup green. In addition, Fiat will probably own the majority stake in Chrysler so they’ll implement this strategy for launching NGVs.
Radical SR3 RS Limited
For celebrating 10 years since the original SR3 was launched, Radical is going to roll out this limited edition RS model which will be available in three “summer” colors: Rosso Red, Spice Yellow and Tangerine.
The heart of the car is going to be a 1340cc RPE-Suzuki power unit that has been tuned in order to output 210 hp @ 10,500 rpm, mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. It sports a Quaife ATB differential, 260x25mm ventilated brake discs, high-downforce rear diffuser and a trackday silencing kit.
No word about the price yet, but if you want to buy one, get your finances in order because they’re going to make only 25 units.

This exquisite coupe is based on the Ugur Sahin’s Z03 Concept of 2007. The same people decided that the concept could use a little bit more refinement and have come up with the Soleil Anandi, which looks like it will enter a limited-run production.
As you can see from these photos, the designers got their inspiration from the Chevrolet Corvette, but in my opinion it looks even better than the original car, except for the backside which is a little bit odd if you ask me.
The car was officially unveiled this week at the 2011 Top Marques Show in Monaco and it will go into a limited production series. No word about how many they are going to make and what will be the price tag, but as soon as we find out, we’ll keep you posted.
(Wrecked) Gumpert Apollo
I really hate when rare cars like the Gumpert Apollo get totaled. A 20-year-old German managed to wreck this $400k automotive masterpiece along a highway near Brokdorf, Germany while taking a slow corner at a very high speed, causing the supercar to skid into a pasture. As you can see from this photo, the 700-hp Apollo lost most of its carbon fiber, leaving only the passenger compartment intact.
As you might have guessed that already, the driver was not the owner of the car. The good news is that both of the people inside survived with minor injuries, but we can’t say that about the car though…

2011 Luxgen Neora Concept
The Taiwan-based Luxgen company will reveal this month at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show its new Neora Concept, an all-electric sedan that has a high-tech interior and a sculpted exterior. Luxgen is an independent Taiwanese brand that develops next-generation electric cars and from their sketches we can see that the Neora (from Neo and Era) comes with a beautiful sculpted body and an extensive use of the LED technology, with the taillights using a high-tech blue light.

Caterham’s Seven Supersport was designed to be fast on the track and fully street legal at the same time. It features a Ford Sigma 1.6-liter engine that churns out 140 hp and 120 lb.-ft of torque. This 4-cylinder power unit is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with “sprint” ratio gearing. With a curb weight of only 1,146 pounds (520 kg), it will sprint to 60 mph in only 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h).

I’m really glad that MG has been resurrected by China’s Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) group and the results of this partnership are beginning to show. This MG6 is going to be the first all-new car that will roll out of the automaker’s Longbridge factory in 16 years. Their last model was the MG F, a mid-engined, RWD roadster that was introduced back in 1995.
Every year, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb attracts all sorts of vehicles that attempt to climb the 12.42 mile highway in the fastest time. Besides open-wheel racers or electric motorcycles, this year we are in for a treat – a very cool leaning trike.
You probably know that Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is a huge car fan and he even drove a Renault F1 car, plus the locally-made Chrysler Sebring. A few days ago he took Russia’s first hybrid car for a spin, the Yo-Mobile (pretty stupid name).
This car has been built by Yo-Auto, which is a joint-venture between truck manufacturer Yarovit Motors and Onexim Group, a company owned by Mikhail Prokhorov, a Russian billionaire that also owns the New Jersey Nets. This vehicle has a rather strange hybrid setup as it features a rotary vane engine that works on gasoline and natural gas, and is mated to a pair of electric motors.
Spada Vetture Sport Codatronca Monza
Yesterday the first batch of pictures of the forthcoming Spada Vetture Sport Codatronca Monza surfaced the Internet, ahead of the car’s official debut at the Top Marques Monaco. It was designed primarily for racing purposes and features a low-slung appearance with a distinctive rear and clear lines.
