2012 Peugeot 308 Hatchback
In other news about Peugeot, this time official, they’ve released the details and images of the 308 facelift, including CC and SW versions. I love that they changed exactly what was wrong with the car – the front look. The grille looks very nice now and the new headlights along with the redesigned hood give the 308 a very clean and attractive appearance. In addition, the facelift model now benefits from LED daytime running lights which although I don’t like on most cars, on this 308 they blend quite nicely.

Aside from these aesthetics changes, the Peugeot 308 facelift packs a few improvements in the efficiency compartment. With the help of the micro-hybrid e-HDI technology, the car has CO2 emissions of only 98 g/km. In addition, the 2012 model will be available with a bunch of Euro 5 VTi, HDi diesel and THP petrol power units.

Here are some other changes in comparison with the outgoing model: the overall weight of the car has been reduced by 25 kg on average on all the models; the car now rolls on 16-inch ultra low rolling resistance tires for lowering the fuel consumption and it has a Cx coefficient of 0.28 for all versions.
The car will be available in four trim levels: Access, SR, Active and Allure. The top-of-the-line model will be the GT THP 200.
The car will be launched in the UK this May at a starting price of 15,245 pounds.
