Peugeot is quite happy that Kris Meeke won the driver’s championship during the 2009 season of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) and has just revealed a special edition of the 207 model, on which Meeke’s rally car is based on.
Sadly though, like what Peugeot’s partner Citroen did with the C4 by Leob, all of the changes are purely cosmetic and only make the car look like a faster one. The 207 S16 will see only 250 units made, each sporting a new body kit consisting of a front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a cosmetic rear diffuser.

The base 207 Sport 1.6 VTi version, which develops 120 HP and 120 lb-ft of torque, also received a set of 17-inch Hockenheim wheels, as well as a custom paint job in Bianca White which is decorated with the livery used by Meeke on his rally car. Last but not least, tinted rear windows and a special interior badge signed by Meeke are also included in the package.
The Peugeot 207 S16 is exclusive to Europe, with prices starting from £14,695.
