Now, I don’t know about you, but I take *all* my buying advice from the TV and the various celebrities which appear on it. That’s why when I heard rapper Nelly will be promoting the new 2011 Ford Mustang on the cover of his next album, due in spring, I already started saving money for the new car.
In all seriousness, the famous rapper has been a spokesman for the American company for 2 years now, and he will be showcasing a special Mustang with the new 5.0-liter engine, customized by DUB Magazine.
“At some point, you’ve had a conversation about a Mustang – and it was probably one about you wanting to get behind the wheel of one,” said Nelly. “I’ve always loved the Mustang; the vehicle has power to the point where you can’t help but want to hit the pedal.”
The DUB Edition Mustang 5.0 boasts black racing stripes on a glossy black paint job, a billet grille and black wheels, measuring 22-inch in the front and 24 in the back, all wrapped in Pirelli tires. Other enhancements include a Borla exhaust system, angel eyes, tinted taillights and a hood scoop. On the inside, passengers will be treated to suede and leather, and can relax with a new sound system from JL Audio, with new amplifiers, speakers and twin 12-inch subwoofers.
