Want something more sporty based on the Renault Clio but don’t want anything extreme like the RS editions? Well the French company has thought of you and brought back the Clio S from the 90s, and added a lot of interesting features.
The new three-door model is based on the Expression trim line, which was available only on the five-door cars, and includes electric windows, heated electric mirrors, a CD audio system with an auxiliary jack, foglights and a new set pf white Polar 16-inch alloy wheels. Besides the Capsicum Red paint, seen above, there are three more exclusive schemes clients can order: Extreme Blue, Glacier White and Pearl Black.
The special S edition includes things like tinted windows and rear glass, white inserts on the front bumper, racing stripes on the side and roof, and a GT rear spoiler for the back, coated in white. On the inside drivers will be treated to the same white inserts on the center console and dash, and a matching stripe pattern. Whited-out instrument dials, leather-wrapped steering wheel as well as quite a few “S” badges are included.
In terms of engines, you’ll be able to choose from a 75 and a 100 HP 1.2-liter gasoline units, and a 86 HP 1.5-liter dCi one. Prices, at least in the UK are between £11,209 to £13,458
