RSC Predator GT Announced – rpmGo.com

RSC Predator GT

The RSC Predator GT is the updated version of the Raptor GT, a car that got some heavy criticism due to the fact that it looked a lot like the Ferrari 599XX. The company ditched that styling and opted for a new one that it too is similar with an Italian supercar, this time something coming from Lamborghini.

Under the hood it will have the same engine, which is a 4-rotor Wankel unit, based on Mazda’s 13B MSP, producing 1184 hp (1,200 PS / 883 kW). This very powerful engine will be mated to an 8-speed sequential gearbox. With a curb weight of only 2,425 lb (1,100 kg), the RSC Predator GT will be able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in less than three seconds.

Unfortunately we don’t know when the car will enter production phase. They were supposed to present a prototype in late 2010, but since that didn’t happen, we probably won’t be seeing a production version this year. But this project does look promising though…

I’m really looking forward for a car that could take down the all-mighty Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, but I guess we’ll have to wait…
