RSC SuperRaptor CF
A few months ago, the German automaker by the name of Rotary Supercars announced the RSC Raptor GT, a car that developed 1,200 hp. Now they’re back with what seems to be a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport killer, a car that produces 2,800 hp! To be honest, I won’t believe this until I see it for real, until then all we have is a bunch of impressive numbers.
Anyway, the RSC SuperRaptor CF will be powered by a 5.2-liter 8-rotor engine that will have three injectors per rotor and the car maker says that it will develop 2,800 hp (2089 kW) and an incredible peak torque of 2,580 lb.-ft. This new unbelievable engine will be fitted with a high pressure dry sump oil system, two catalytic converters and an E-Tec engine management system. To get that amount of HP, the car will be equipped with four turbochargers as well as a water-to-air intercooler.
According to Rotary Supercars, the SuperRaptor CF will have a 0-62 mph sprint in 0.9 seconds!
We’ll have to wait and see about that. I really doubt that they can launch such a car. If the Veyron is a hypercar, what will this be?
