SMS Supercars reveals 2011 302 Ford Mustang tuning kit | Rpmgo.com

Steve Saleen and his team over at SMS Supercars were extremely excited to hear about the power increase in the new 2011 Ford Mustang model, which received a 5.0-liter V8 capable of 412 HP.

As you know, stock figures are never enough for them, so they went to work and unveiled the 2011 302 Mustang model. It will be offered in two flavors: a base 4V edition, which guarantees 440 HP, and a supercharged 302SC edition, that cranks the output to 535 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque. The first model can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds, while the supercharged one can do it in 4.3 seconds.

Besides the different power ratings, these special SMS Mustangs will have a lot in common, from the special body kit and exterior design, to the plethora of features on the inside. These include Alcantara seats, special 200 mph gauges and a short-throw shifter. On the outside, the set of 20-inch wheels pop out, which sit on modified brakes and suspension.

The 302 Mustang 4V will start at $54,990 while the 302SC will begin at $64,990. An even more powerful 351X model is planned, but will be unveiled later on.
