2013 Bentley Continental GT V8
The newly developed V8 twin-turbo 4.0-liter engine created by Bentley will be making an appearance in early January at the Detroit Motor Show where it will be installed in the 2013 Continental GT and the 2013 Continental GTC, promising “an instantly recognizable growl”. This engine will be available in special versions of those two models, cars that will be identifiable by their red badges, black grilles, along with “figure eight” exhaust pipes. These cars will be slotted below the current 6.0-liter W12 Continentals which will remain in production.
2013 Bentley Continental GT V8
This new V8 engine uses direct high pressure fuel injection and on light throttle loads it cuts to a fuel-saving four cylinder mode. It is capable of producing 500 hp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 487 lb.-ft available between 1,700 and 5,000 rpm. It is mated to a new eight-speed automatic gearbox from ZF and allows the car to do the 0-62 mph sprint in less than five seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 180 mph.

The British automaker decided not to publish the CO2 and fuel consumption figures of this new V8 engine, but they promised they’ll show them in early 2012. We also don’t know if this power unit has been engineered in order to run on bio-ethanol, taking into consideration that the aforementioned W12 60-liter is compatible with this type of fuel.

Bentley Continental GT2 (rendering)
According to Bentley’s new boss Wolfgang Durheimer, the British automaker is working on a GT2 version of the Continental and it will be 200 kg lighter than the regular GT, weighing 2,200 kg. Compared to the standard coupe, the GT2 version will be 100 hp more powerful and it will be able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in less than four seconds, on its way to a maximum speed of over 200 mph.
The company’s boss didn’t mention if the car will be motivated by a tweaked version of the current W12 engine or it will come with the newly developed twin-turbo V8 which will be out next year. Since both engines are capable of producing more than 600 hp, most likely Bentley is testing them both so we don’t know for sure which one it will get.
It will be a limited edition and company insiders have told Auto Express that it is going to be the most spectacular and fastest road car rolled out by Bentley in all its prolific history. The same source mentions that it will be the first car which won’t come with the traditional 4WD system.

Bentley Continental Flying Spur Limited Edition
Yet another special edition model will be heading to China, this time is based on the Bentley Continental Flying Spur. For this model, the automaker team up with Linley, a British design company that is best known for its furniture and interior design.
Bentley Continental Flying Spur Limited Edition
What they’ve did is apply Santos rosewood veneers to those areas where in the standard version you’ll find walnut or chestnut: roof console, console, fascia and waistrail. Other than that, this limited-run model comes with stainless steel Linley treadplates.
Bentley Continental Flying Spur Limited Edition
For the picnic table and waistrails, the car features a Linley Helix motif which has been applied in a form of decorative veneering dubbed marquetry. As for the rear console, this special Continental Flying Spur has a Linley cigar humidor, while in the trunk there is a Linley-branded leather bag that has a cashmere blanket as well as other Linley items.
Bentley Continental Flying Spur Limited Edition
Only 10 units will be made and all of them will go to China, which if you didn’t know is the company’s biggest market for its 4-door models. We don’t know the price tag for this special edition model, but since the regular Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed costs from 150,900 pounds, this one will probably be somewhere around the 170,000 pounds mark.

2012 Bentley Continental GTC
The British car maker Bentley has brought to the 64th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show its gorgeous convertible version of the freshened Continental GT. Obviously, the car is based on the fixed-rood variant and comes with more sculpted lines in comparison to the outgoing model, while in the front it has new headlights and a revised design of the grille.
2012 Bentley Continental GTC
It is motivated by the same massive W12 twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter engine that produces 575 hp and a peak torque of 516 lb.-ft (700 Nm) as its coupe sibling. Other than that, it packs an updated 4WD system that delivers more power to the back axle as the power distribution is 40:60, while the older model shared it equally between the two axles. With this hardware configuration, the 2012 Bentley Continental GT is capable of sprinting to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds, on its way to a maximum speed of 195 mph (314 km/h).

Inside the cabin, the car benefits from an updated dashboard that has an all-new instrument panel as well as a touchscreen multimedia system right in the center of the console. The automaker mentioned that the vehicle offers better rear room thanks to the fact that the front seats have a new shape.

During the Frankfurt Motor Show, Bentley has presented the new executive interior concept for the Mulsanne, brand’s flagship model. Why is this thing so special? Because Bentley has changed the car into an Apple multimedia connective hub. Meaning that they have taken all the Apple gadgets from the market and integrated them into their car, from Apple iPads with Bluetooth keyboards to Mini Mac installed in the boot compartment and an Apple Media Center.
In addition to this, the Mulsanne features a ’W-Lan’ internet connectivity, and a 15.6″ High Definition LED drop-down monitor. It has two electric-powered foldable picnic tables (maybe for in-car business meetings?), a center console full illuminated, various new storage areas, a Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) and audio system. And that’s not all: a Tibaldi pen, a cooler, a Privacy Telephone handset, numerous lights set-ups, and different ports and connectors. Aren’t you impressed yet?
Besides all these technology installed, maybe you still wonder why this is promoted as an Executive Interior Concept. The answer is in all the features that it carries.
The price was not announced, but we guess it’s not low.
What do you think about the idea of having all your gadgets installed on you car?

2012 Bentley Continental GTC
The British car manufacturer Bentley has released this week the first official photos and details of its 2012 Continental GTC model which is set to make a public debut in September at this year’s edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show. If you’ve seen the Continental GT Coupe that was launched last year, the GTC version shouldn’t surprise you as far as the styling is concerned, both on the outside and inside the cabin.
2012 Bentley Continental GTC
The front fascia of the redesigned model is inspired by the one fitted to the Mulsanne model, featuring gemstone headlights and an updated grille, along with more crisp lines throughout. Inside, we find a redesigned dashboard that packs a new instrument panel plus a touchscreen interface for the navigation and audio systems. The company also mentioned that there is more rear legroom with the 2012 Continental GTC and they managed to do this by redesigning the front seats.
2012 Bentley Continental GTC
The suspension of the car has been retuned and also it should provide a sharper steering. The front and rear tracks are now wider and the car has been fitted with an improved version of the automaker’s AWD system, featuring a 40:60 rear torque bias whereas the outgoing model has 50:50.
2012 Bentley Continental GTC
The heart of this model is its massive W12 twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter engine which has been revised and now has 15 hp and 50 Nm of torque more than before, for a grand total of 575 hp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. The power unit is mated to a new QuickShift gearbox and Bentley says that it should be able to change gears faster than before.

2012 Bentley Continental GT Speed
The guys from WorldCarFans have managed to grab this week a few spy shots with the upcoming 2012 Bentley Continental GT Speed which is set to make an official appearance next month during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The photos with the prototype were taken somewhere in the near vicinity of the Nurburgring track (what a surprise, right?) and we can see that it has the same updates as the standard facelift version, but it is distinguished by the bigger 21 inch alloys and larger air intakes on the front bumper.
2012 Bentley Continental GT Speed
Under the hood it will feature a massive W12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine that will fire more than 600 hp (608 PS / 447 kW) and a peak torque of 553 lb.-ft (749 Nm). The engine will be mated to a Quickshift gearbox that will send all of those ponies to the AWD system and we should expect to see a 0-62 mph sprint time of less than 4.5 seconds.

Bentley SUV (rendering)
Bentley’s CEO, Wolfgang Durheimer, has confirmed this week that the company is working hard on a sport utility vehicle which if it will be green-lighted by parent company VW, it will probably go into production sometime in 2014. Durheimer told Top Gear and Car publications that Bentley is developing its own derivative of the next-gen VW Touareg, Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne.
According to Top Gear magazine, this all-new SUV from Bentley might be powered by a massive V12 6.0-liter TDI engine borrowed from the Audi Q7. Car mentioned that this Bentley model could get the all-new V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine that will make its first appearance in the upcoming 2012 Continental GT. In addition, Car said that chances are that we’ll see this SUV also with a plug-in hybrid powertrain linked to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Reports say that the SUV will share the modular MLB architecture that will be used for the next-gen Touareg, Q7 and Cayenne, and all of them will benefit from a lightweight aluminum spaceframe. Car added that this 2014 Bentley SUV will be more expensive than the Range Rover as well as the Porsche Cayenne.

Although the auto industry has been affected tremendously by the recent financial crisis, a few companies have managed to increase their sales during these rough times. A good example would have to be Bentley who announced this week that they have increased their sales by 20%, managing to deliver in the first period of this year 2,978 cars, the most units since 2008.
Most of the success is attributed to the increasing demand for the Continental GT model as well as the company’s increasing exposure in China, where the automaker’s sales have risen by a whopping 57% in comparison to the similar period of 2010, selling 680 cars.
In Europe, Bentley’s sales have risen by 25% (494 units) while in the United States they’re up by 23% (907 cars). The only areas where the company’s sales have fallen are the Middle East and Japan.

As if the Bentley Supersports QP Light Body Breitling Watch wasn’t enough to celebrate the automaker’s achievement of braking the world record for the fastest car on ice, there are two new watches to go along with the recently announced Bentley Supersports Ice Speed Record special edition.
Dubbed GT Ice and GT Racing Ice, both of them feature an Ice White dial and have an all-polished finish. The GT Racing model sports a special finish that alternates between satin-brushed upper surfaces and polished sides. On the back of the case there is a medallion with the outline of the Bentley Continental GT.
Both models have a Breitling Calibre 13B chronograph movement – chronometer-certified by the COSC and fitted with a calendar displaying the date and day through a generous twin aperture at 3 o’clock.
These watches are a limited edition and the price tag is a whopping $7,165.
In my opinion these watches are somewhat pointless because the current top speed record for driving on ice is held by the Audi RS6, a car that clocked 206.05 mph at Gulf of Bothina in Oulu, Finland.

Who doesn’t want to buy a prestige car like a Jaguar, a BMW, a Mercedes or a Ferrari? It’s the dream of every person to have one of these “beauties” in his garage. Even if these cars are more expensive than the regular ones and need extra money to repair and maintain, the luxury features such as cruise control, leather interior or sound technology, which provide you the comfort you need, are all worth the extra money.
Sometimes, these cars represent the wealth and the welfare of the people who own them. So, if you fell that a prestige car is the one for you should take a look at my options. These options are among the most desired cars on Earth, man made.
Who didn’t see the Bond movies and the car drove by him, the amazing Aston Martin? This car has a history and it is the finest prestige car on the market. It’s made by the best automobile engineers in the field. Their mission is to make cars which combine “power, beauty and soul” and they manage to do that every time. The list of Aston Martin cars is long, so you can choose taking into account how much money do you want to spend. So you can buy a 2009 Aston Martin Vantage Silver or a 2010 4 doors Aston Martin Rapide.

Another prestige car is the Bentley, which is the most exquisite car of all. It represents style and pure comfort on wheels and every time you drive one of these cars you must know that everybody will turn the head and admire its elegance. There are a lot of models from which to pick and choose, starting with the Bentley Continental Mulliner 6.0 V12 and going back to some other older models.
The most stylish and exquisite saloon car is the Jaguar. The words which describe it are beauty, power and elegance. So, you can buy the most recent models on the market, such as the 2010 Jaguar XJ Series Diesel or the Jaguar XF 3.0 Diesel Portfolio 2011.
I think that everybody love the cars made by Ferrari. This brand is the symbol of performance and because of that all the people like the “Prancing Horse”. I think that you will agree that Ferrari is the winner when it comes to style. Choose the model you want: even if it is a 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano or a 1997 Ferrari F50 Ferrari Classiche, people’s reaction will be the same and that beauty will always get the highest wow factor.

But if you want a 4×4 car, you must buy the most exquisite one and that’s the Land Rover. This car is the more secure and safe car you can drive in your town or on off-road terrain. The list of Land Rovers is wide and can satisfy all tastes. You can buy a 2011 Land Rover Discovery Diesel or a 51 Land Rover Freelander depending on your finances.
These are the winners when it comes to prestige, but you can enjoy luxury even on a smaller budget. Nowadays, many of the mass-production manufactures have included the extra luxury items in their car production. That’s why you will be able to afford a Ford Fiesta equipped with reversing cameras or a Sony DAB radio.
If you want to fulfill a dream you must invest time and money, but every penny will seem well spent in the end.

Bentley Continental Supersports Coupe
At the moment, Bentley’s lineup of cars consists of four models, including the Mulsanne, Azure T, Brooklands and the Continental. The latter is available in four different versions, as follows: GT, GTC, Flying Spur and the Supersports. The automaker’s bosses are working on expanding this lineup and the new models will be underpinned by the soon-to-be-sister brand Porsche’s architecture.
The first future model will most likely be a 4-door coupe variant of the Continental GT that will have to face up some serious competition coming from the exquisite Aston Martin Rapide and the Mercedes CLS. At the same time, it will also take on other models by the VW Group, including the Porsche Panamera and the sexy Audi A7.
Rumors say that Bentley is also working on a crossover which will be based on the Porsche Cayenne. Those same sources say that the automaker will use the Cross Continental badge for that model.
Another possible model will be a smaller coupe that will be placed below the aforementioned Continental GT and will be aimed to grab customers from the Mercedes SL 63 AMG and the Maserati GranTurismo.
These new models should see the light of day sometime in 2015.

Bentley Arabia Continental Flying Spur Speed
It seems that the Qatar Motor Show organized in Doha is the place where automakers come to launch special editions of their models. First, Volkswagen rolled out two special editions of their highly successful Touareg sport utility vehicle. After that, Lamborghini launched a the Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore and now Bentley unveiled the Arabia Continental Flying Spur Speed which will be made in a limited series of only 50 units.
With a staggering price of 155,000 pounds, this special edition comes with a bundle of extras over the standard Speeds, most of them upgrading the visual elements of the vehicle. The model is easily distinguishable by the interior and exterior “Arabia” motifs that can be found on the ashtray lid badge, tread plate and on the front bumper.
The Arabia rolls on 10-spoke, 20-inch bright silver rims that are compatible with the carbon ceramic brakes which are an optional feature. The color choices for the bodywork are also unique in comparison to the standard model.
Inside the luxurious cabin, this limited edition comes with deep-pile carpet mats with hide trimming, veneered picnic tables with inset vanity mirrors to the rear of the car’s front seats and also it has ventilated fluted seats.
The Bentley Arabia Continental Flying Spur Speed will be offered with a variation of the company’s W12 engine that outputs 600 hp and 553 lb.-ft of torque which allows the car to reach 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and have a top speed of 200 mph.

Bentley Flying Star
For those of you looking for a Bentley shooting brake look no further as Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera can make your dreams come true, for a hefty price of course. The Flying Star was unveiled by the Milanese coachbuilder at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show but since then, they only managed to deliver three examples of this very interesting custom creation.
Bentley Flying Star
Why just three examples? Because they said that for building just one, they need about 4,000 man-hours. What they do is they take a Continental GTC (the outgoing model, for now) and transform it into a long-roofed coupe. Things will take a turn for the better as they recently made an investment in the staff and equipment and they said that in the near future they will be able to make five cars at a time.
Bentley Flying Star
However, each example will still take 6 months to deliver and the total annual production will be limited to only 19 units. The good side is that those wealthy buyers that can afford it will be able to choose from a wide variety of customizations, including the powerful 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 that can be available in various states of tune ranging from 552 hp for the entry-level configuration and up to 621 for the Supersports model.

2011 Bentley Mulsanne
Tasked with making a new flagship that is capable of capturing the essence of the Bentley marquee – a high-end luxury automobile that is capable of taking down many of today’s sports cars – the designers and engineers in Crewe did their very best and created the 2011 Mulsanne. The electronics of the car manage every single aspect of the Mulsanne’s powerful V8 6.75-liter, from the ignition sequence to fuel delivery. Power on the engine and it whirls to life and after that you will get a near-silent idle.
The car you see in these pictures is the North American-spec Bentley Mulsanne that has Pale Sapphire paint and a Cashew interior with French Navy contrasting color. The starting price for the car is $285,000 without the $2,595 destination fee. The car pictured comes pre-loaded with a bundle of optional features, like the massive 21-inch Polished Sport Wheels that cost $6,315; the Seat Ventilation & Massage that cost extra $3,000; the Adaptive Cruise Control which adds another $3,270 to the final price tag; Burr Oak Veneer – $4,630; Naim Premium Audio – $7,415 and a Flying “B” Radiator Mascot. Add to all of these the Valet Key that costs $250 and the Ambient Interior Mood Lightning that adds another $390 and the final price tag of this high-end car is $330,195.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne
The 2011 Mulsanne has some of the best polished stainless steel door handles ever installed in a car and the insides have a special tactile knurling that delights your fingertips. With the new model, the company reinstated its proprietary tanning process for the hides which means that the new Mulsanne benefits from an aromatic and rich leather balm which is quite different in comparison to what you find in other cars with “painted” leather interiors.
Being a true Bentley, the inside is both sumptuous and lavish, both passenger-pampering and driver-focused. The steering wheel of the car isn’t quite sculpted or meaty, but the grip of the leather, feel and texture is very smooth. The flagship model comes with 12-way power-operated heated and massaging seats that offer all the comfort you can get from a car’s seat.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne
The primary instrumentation of the vehicle is quite clear, but the many smaller glass buttons located on the center console and the center stack require a little bit of familiarization. The car features an 8-inch high-resolution screen that is located behind a veneered panel installed in the center of the dashboard and is capable of displaying an easy-to-read version of Audi’s MMI (Multi Media Interface).
We all know that all Bentleys are designed mostly for the driver, but rest assured that the2011 Mulsanne offers all the comfort in the world for its passengers. The front one has the identical accommodations as the driver and the rear ones (2+1) benefit from 8-way power-operated heated and massaging seats with memory features and lumbar support. The car benefits from four individual zones of the climate control system and the passengers in the rear seats have the possibility to move the front-passenger seat out of the way (not that they don’t have plenty of leg room in the back). The multitude of controls is cleverly tucked out of the way inside the armrest that can be found in the rear center.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne
The engine that we have mentioned at the beginning of the article has been around since the 60s, and was installed in many Bentley and Rolls-Royce cars. During its 50 years of service, the power unit has received several updates and in this Mulsanne it has been entirely reworked and got a new forged camshaft, new connecting rods and new lightweight pistons. With these improvements, the power unit churns 505 hp @ 4,200 rpm and at only 1,750 rpm it can offer a torque of 752 pound-feet. This engine is linked to an 8-speed automatic gearbox developed by ZF that comes with paddles mounted on the steering wheel for those drivers that still want to switch gears manually. With this hardware configuration, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne is capable of doing the 0-60 mph sprint in only 5.1 seconds, 0-100 mph in 11.6 seconds. With a curb weight of 5,700 pounds, the car is faster than a Porsche Cayman S which has half of the Bentley’s weight.
A premiere for a car in this segment is the variable displacement which means that the valves close in four of the cylinders in order to maximize fuel efficiency during normal cruising. Bentley’s are known to be driver’s cars so the Mulsanne is no exception to this rule and comes with a rotary switch for altering the suspension as well as the steering responses. The four driving modes available are: Bentley, Sport, Comfort and Custom.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne
That heavy power under the hood must be stopped efficiently and for this reason the engineers at Bentley fitted the 2011 Mulsanne with massive brakes that measure 15.75 inches in the front with 6-piston calipers and 14.60 inches for the rear wheels with 2-piston calipers. The 21-inch optional rims we mentioned before are covered by 265/45ZR21 performance tires. When you stomp the brakes, the nose will drop as the weight is transferred forward.
Although it has a pretty considerable price tag, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne is worth every single dollar, offering a great driving experience combined with all the comfort in the world. The steering is as smooth as it gets, the brakes are very efficient, and the interior cabin features some of the best and expensive materials available. Being a hand-crafted luxury sedan, the Mulsanne is a luxury automobile that perfectly blends the fun of driving with a bundle of comfort features for both the driver and the rest of the passengers.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne
The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne can be described as a car faster than the Porsche Cayman S and with all the luxury features that you would expect from a car that belongs to the high-end luxury segment. Of course, all of these come at a very hefty price.
