Isuzu D-MAX priced from 14,499 pounds
The all-new Isuzu D-MAX has been announced for the United Kingdom where it is priced between 14,499 pounds and 21,499 pounds. The vehicle will get its public debut on April 24 at the 2012 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, before going on sale this June.
The pickup truck shares a lot of its DNA with the new generation of the Chevrolet Colorado and in the UK market it is going to be sold in four trim levels. Not only will there be single and double cab variants as usual, but for the first time in UK, the Isuzu D-MAX will be sold also in an extended cab body configuration.
The entry-level model costs 14,499 pounds as we mentioned before and for this money you’ll be getting the 4×2 single cab versions that comes as standard with daytime running lights, air conditioning, front/side/curtain airbags and electric windows.
A more expensive version is the Eiger double cab which will set you back at least 18,499 pounds. This one comes with Bluetooth & iPod connectivity, projector headlamps, body-colored bumpers and 16-inch alloys. For 18,999 pounds you can choose the Yukon double cab version that brings a 6-speaker audio system, a steering wheel wrapped around in leather with audio and cruise controls, along with bigger 17-inch alloy wheels and chrome exterior detailing.
The top-spec version of the Isuzu D-MAX is the Utah which packs heated front seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate controls, rear parking sensors and roof bars. This version of the pickup truck costs from 21,499 pounds when fitted with the automatic transmission.
Regardless of the chosen trim level, the vehicle is motivated by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder twin-turbo common rail diesel engine which is Euro5-compliant. Mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, this engine is capable of developing 161 hp and a maximum torque of 295 lb.-ft (400 Nm) available at just 1400 rpm.
It is worth mentioning that the new generation of the Isuzu D-MAX comes with the “shift-on-the-fly” system which gives the driver the possibility to select between 2WD and 4WD modes while driving the pickup truck at speeds of up to 60 mph (96 km/h). The D-MAX offers a payload capacity of 2,204 pounds (1,000 kg) and a three-ton (braked) towing capacity.

2012 Audi RS5 priced from 58,725 pounds
Audi’s UK division has announced yesterday that starting with this week they will begin taking orders for the 2012 RS5, with prices starting from 58,725 pounds OTR. As most of you remember, the car was revealed last September during the Frankfurt Motor Show and comes with a hand-built V8 4.2-liter engine that pumps out 444 hp (450 PS / 331 kW) and 317 lb.-ft (430 Nm) of torque.
This power unit is linked to a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox that sends the power through the quattro AWD permanent system, enabling the RS5 to do the 0-62 mph sprint in 4.5 seconds, on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). For those with deeper pockets, Audi can eliminate this top speed restriction, allowing the car to hit 174 mph (208 km/h).
As far as the design is concerned, the 2012 Audi RS5 comes with sharper and more pronounced hood contours, an updated single frame grille design, new look for the front and rear bumpers, LED wraparound daytime running lights and LED rear lights, along with 19-inch alloys that have a 10-spoke design.
Inside the car we find a three-spoke, flat-bottomed RS steering wheel, along with detail improvements to the Multi Media Interface (MMI), air conditioning, electric window switchgear, instrument stalks and gear lever. As standard, the car is offered with cruise control, Bluetooth mobile phone integration, Audi Music Interface iPod connection and DVD-based satellite navigation.
For an additional 2,250 pounds, clients can get the new RS5 with Dynamic Ride Control that comes with exhaust, dynamic steering, as well as rotor-design, titanium-look 20-inch alloys. For more money you can get the car with a sport differential.
Deliveries are scheduled to commence this April.

UK Market – Mazda CX-5 priced from 21,395 pounds
The all-new Mazda CX-5 is already available for order in the United Kingdom while the deliveries will start later on this spring. The entry-level model will cost from 21,395 pounds and clients will be able to choose from two engines and four trim levels.
The two power units available include a 2.0-liter Skyactiv gasoline unit that delivers 163 hp and a 2.2-liter Skyactiv diesel that produces 148 hp or 173 hp. The car is available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
As far as the trim levels are concerned, the Mazda CX-5 can be ordered in the SE-L, SE-L Nav, Sport and Sport Nav trim level. As standard, the car comes equipped with climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, tinted windows, along with front and rear parking sensors. Those who order the Sport trim will get the CX-5 with bigger 19-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera, heated seats wrapped around in leather and bi-xenon headlights.
The most frugal version of the Mazda CX-5 is the one with the 2.2-liter diesel engine that pumps out 148 hp in the 2WD configuration. Linked to a 6-speed manual transmission, the vehicle is capable of returning 61.4 mpg UK and has CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.

2012 Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition
General Motors has announced earlier this week that the Chevrolet Camaro will be returning to the United Kingdom market this spring. Clients will be able to get the car with only a V8 6.2-liter engine that generates 426 hp (432 PS / 318 kW) and a maximum torque of 420 lb.-ft (569 Nm). The coupe version can do the 0-62 mph sprint in 5.2 seconds while the convertible needs an additional 0.2 seconds, en route to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

Toyota GT 86 priced from 25k pounds
Scheduled to hit the dealerships in the United Kingdom this June, the Toyota GT 86 will have a starting price from 24,995 pounds, marking the ending of more than two years of speculation when the car got various rumored price tags from only 15,000 pounds to as high as 30,000 pounds.
The car is already available on order but we don’t know for sure the exact specifications. The GT 86 is motivated by a 2.0-liter boxer engine that pumps out 197 hp and a peak torque of 151 lb.-ft. This power unit will be mated to a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission, and it will come as standard with a limited slip differential.
This 2+2 coupe has a curb weight of 1180 kg and it will be able to reach a maximum speed of about 155 mph, while the 0-62 mph sprint should be done in about 7 seconds. The dimensions of the car are 4240 mm in length, 1775 mm in width and 1285 mm in height, which makes it probably one of the most compact cars in the world that can accommodate four people. The center of gravity of the GT 86 is very low, rated at only 475 mm.
The engine and the driving position of the coupe have been configured as far back and as low as possible in order to optimize the car’s balance, allowing for a weight distribution of 53:47. It comes with a MacPherson strut front suspension and a rear double wishbone suspension, and it will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels.
At the moment we don’t have official details coming from Subaru regarding its BRZ model but rumors say that it will be about 5,000 pounds than the GT 86.

Citroen DS5 priced in UK from 22,400 pounds
Introduced last year in April at the Shanghai Auto Show and later on in September during the Frankfurt Motor Show, the superb Citroen DS5 has arrived in United Kingdom and it is now available on pre-order, while deliveries will start at the beginning of April. The cheapest version money can buy costs 22,400 pounds and goes all the way up to 32,200 pounds for the top-spec Hybrid4 DSport.
This would have to be the cooler alternative to the rather conservative C5 model, offering a more refined interior, a higher ground clearance and an exciting new styling. It will be available upon launch with four Euro V-compliant engines, including here one that was developed with BMW. It is a powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline unit that pumps out 200 hp.
The Citroen DS5 is also available with an HDi diesel engine that produces 160 hp , along with an e-HDi engine that generates 110 hp and comes with the stop/start micro-hybrid technology. The range-topping engine is the impressive 200 hp diesel electric Hybrid4 that has AWD capabilities and CO2 emissions of only 99 g/km.
As for the available transmissions, the new Citroen DS5 can be ordered with a manual, automatic or a 6-speed EGS transmission.

UK Market – Hyundai i30 hatchback priced from 14,495 pounds

Several days ago, the Korean automaker Hyundai has revealed the full specification and pricing for the second generation of the popular i30 model which is scheduled to arrive in the United Kingdom on March 12. The on-the-road prices begin from 14,495 pounds for the entry-level Classic trim that comes with a 99 hp (100 PS) gasoline engine, and go all the way up to 20,795 pounds for the top-spec Style Nav edition that packs an 108 hp (110 PS) diesel engine which is linked to an automatic gearbox.
The new generation of the i30 can be ordered with one of the two gasoline engines: a 1.4-liter unit with 100 PS matched to a manual transmission and a more powerful 118 hp (120 PS) 1.6-liter that is linked to an automatic gearbox. On the diesel side we find a 1.4-liter CRDi unit with 89 hp (90 PS) and a manual transmission, plus a 1.6-liter CRDi that pumps out 108 hp (110 PS) which is available with both a manual or an automatic transmission. Also on offer is a more powerful 1.6-liter CRDi that pumps out 126 hp (128 PS) and it is connected to a manual transmission.

Customers are able to order the new Hyundai i30 in one of the following trim levels: Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav. The new Subaru XV has reached UK and comes with a choice of three power units and three trim levels. The starting price for the crossover is 21,295 pounds while for the top-spec version you’ll have to pay 29,995 pounds.
Regarding the engine offerings, you can choose from two gasoline units that have a displacement of 1.6- and 2.0-liters that pump out 112 hp (114 PS) and 148 hp (150 PS). Both of these engines can be mated to a five/six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed CVT automatic.
If you prefer diesels, there’s a 2.0-liter boxer unit that produces 145 hp and has a peak torque of 258 lb.-ft (350 Nm), allowing the Subaru XV to hit 62 mph from start in 9.3 seconds. With this engine, the crossover can return 50.4 mpg UK and has CO2 emissions of 146 g/km. According to Subaru, this version of the XV is going to be the most popular among clients.
Regardless of the engine chosen, the XV comes with the company’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system as standard. Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige
Introduced last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige is now available in the United Kingdom and it costs from 20,700 pounds. As you would expect, this is the luxurious version of the DS3 and is available with two engines.

The first power unit is a THP 155 gasoline unit while the other one is a more frugal and efficient e-HDi 110 diesel that benefits from the stop/start system. The German automaker Mercedes-Benz has announced that the 2012 SLK 55 AMG is going to have a base price of 54,950 pounds in the United Kingdom. Under its hood there’s a V8 5.5-liter direct-injection engine that pumps out 421 hp and a peak torque of 398 lb.-ft. 2012 Toyota Prius
Set to go on sale in March, the 2012 Toyota Prius is going to have a base price of 21,350 pounds in the United Kingdom. It will be offered in three trim levels, the most expensive one being Prius T Spirit which will cost 24,620 pounds. This revised model was revealed in September 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show and comes with a bunch of updates inside and out.
The 2012 Toyota Prius comes with a new look for the front bumper that now features daytime running lights, clear headlamps that have an updated LED lamp configuration, along with new tail lamp graphics and new designs for the alloy wheels. Inside, the car comes with new seats in the front, new upholstery and softer-touch surfaces.

The Japanese automaker has raised the equipment levels, and now the company’s touchscreen control system is offered as standard on all three trim levels. The automaker mentioned that they’ve also updated the steering column and the suspension in order to improve steering and comfort feel.

The facelift for the Volkswagen CC was shown for the first time back in November last year at the Los Angeles Motor Show and now the German automaker has revealed the price list for the UK market. The car is now available for order in United Kingdom and the first deliveries are expected to commence on April 16th.
The starting price for the CC is 24,000 pounds (OTR) for the 1.8-liter TSI 160 PS version, while the top-spec GT model that is powered by a 2.0-liter TDI 170 PS engine will set you back at least 30,100 pounds (OTR). The latter comes with a DSG double clutch gearbox and the company’s BlueMotion Technology.
Previously known as the Passat CC, the facelift version brings a new design for the front and rear ends, and it is offered in two different trim levels. Customers are able to choose from one of the four available engines, including the 1.8-liter TSI engine that fires 160 PS, a beefier 2.0-liter TSI with 210 PS, along with two 2.0-liter TDI common rail diesels offered with 140 PS or 170 PS.
The entry-level VW CC comes with iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, DAB digital radio, climate control, 17-inch alloys, ESP, brake energy recuperation, bi-xenon headlights and a touchscreen satellite navigation system.
The GT version of the four-door coupe brings heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, three-mode adaptive chassis control, 18-inch alloys, heat insulating tinted glass from the B-pillar back, front fog lights and full Nappa leather upholstery.

If you live in the UK and have been saving money to buy a brand new Audi Q7 you’ll be happy to hear that the German automaker has introduced a new entry-level version which comes with a V6 3.0-liter diesel engine that develops 201 hp (204 PS) and a peak torque of 450 Nm.
This version of the Q7 comes as standard with the company’s quattro AWD system and an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox. The large seven-seater sport utility vehicle hits 62 mph in 9.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 127 mph (204 km/h). It manages to return 39.2 mpg UK (32.6 mpg US or 7.2 liters / 100 km) and has CO2 emissions of 189 g/km.
Customers will be able to choose from one of the four trim levels available: Standard, SE, S line and the recently introduced S Line Plus. OTR prices start from 39,995 pounds for the Standard model, while the top-spec S Line Plus costs from 49,120 pounds.
The S Line Plus is 4,500 pounds more expensive than the S Line and it is offered with five of the six engines that can power the Q7. It brings huge 21-inch rims, standard metallic paint, running boards, special Verano leather upholstery, powered tailgate operation, HDD-based sat-nav system, Audi Parking System Advanced with reversing camera and Bluetooth phone preparation with Internet services.

2012 Suzuki Swift Sport arrives in UK for 13,500 pounds
The high-end version of the Suzuki swift lineup has arrived in the United Kingdom and it is scheduled to go on sale next month for 13,500 pounds. The Sport version of the Swift is motivated by a 1.6-liter VVT Euro 5 compliant gasoline engine that produces 136 hp and a peak torque of 118 lb.-ft (160 Nm) available at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a newly developed six-speed manual gearbox that sends the horsepower to the wheels in the front.
According to the Japanese automaker, the car needs 8.7 seconds for the 0-62 mph sprint, before hitting a top speed of 121 mph (195 km/h). The fuel consumption is rated at 44.1 mpg UK (36.7 mpg US). It comes with a modified steering system, a stiffer suspension setup and rolls on beefier 17-inch alloys that are wrapped around in 195/45R17 tires to enhance handling.
The sportiest Swift comes with an attractive aerodynamic package that has a specially developed front bumper, a glossy black grille, a roof spoiler, revised rear bumper and more aggressive side skirts. In addition, the diffuser is more prominent while the tail pipes are bigger in comparison to the regular Swift.
Inside the cabin, the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport has sports seats that are covered in a bespoke model fabric, while the steering wheel has a three-spoke design.
