Here’s the Toyota Corolla Rumion, which Japanese customers will be able to buy starting today. The car, which has Toyota’s simple ‘relax in style’ design is the Japanese version of the scion xB and has two engine choices. The first one is a 1.5-liter VVT-i engine (143 g/km CO emissions) and the second one is a 1.8-liter Dual VVT-I (Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) engine, which produces 151g/km of CO2 (10% less than Japanese regulations).

The Corolla Rumion will feature Toyota’s safety technologies, like SRS airbags, WIL (Whiplash Injury Lessening) front seats, an advanced GOA (Global Outstanding Assessment) collision-safety body, Eco Driving Indicator lights, Super CVT-i (Continuously Variable Transmission-intelligent) and Smart Entry & Start System among others.

Priced at yen 1,680,000 (about 10,000 EUR or $14,300) and going all the way up to yen 2,310,000 (14,000 EUR or $21,000), Toyota hopes to sell 3,500 units per month. View more photos after the jump.
