Jon Sibal’s Alpine White 1-Series M Coupe CSL Rendering

It seems that IND Distribution, a tuning company from Chicago, will be developing a kit for the recently launched BMW 1 Series M Coupe (the most affordable M model), based on the CSL rendering of the model by graphic designer Jon Sibal. He wrote on his personal blog that he signed a deal with the tuning firm and he will update his blog with information regarding the development of the body kit.

The design was all over the Internet last month and was a wish-fullfillment project by Jon Sibal which frankly put, had little to no chances of ever being produced by BMW. Luckily, IND Distribution has decided to make wishes become reality and will come up with a kit based on the rendering.

The tuning company is known for doing a lot of work on Mercedes, Porsche and BMW models. In addition, they are the distributor of Eisenmann Exhaust Systems for the North American market.

Involved in the project will also be Brembo, ESS Tuning, Challenge Engineering, Patrick BMW and Eisenmann who will most likely offer the exhaust system for this special car.

We will keep you up to date once this promising project comes to life in the upcoming months.

2012 Ariel Atom Mugen

If you thought that the Atom V8 500 was the most powerful and fast Ariel available, you are wrong as the company just finished preparing a limited edition Atom Mugen which made its debut at this year’s UK Autosport Show. This limited edition was made in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Atom and only 10 units will be produced. Each of these cars will come with different liveries and will have numbered plates signed by Ariel and Mugen. The latter is known for offering many tuning packages for Honda cars.

Aside from the regular features that you find in the standard Atom, the Mugen edition comes with four pot lightweight calipers as well as ventilated discs for both the front and rear wheels. Inside, the Mugen model will benefit from a multi-functional LCD screen installed in front of the Atom’s driver and will display all the necessary and relevant info, including lap times and gearshift indicators.

As far as the engine is concerned, the 2012 Ariel Atom Mugen will feature the unit that equips the Honda Civic Type R, which is a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter K20Z Type R, but tuned by Mugen in order to output 270 hp @ 8,600 rpm. In comparison to the standard Atom, the Mugen offers a 25 hp increase. With this engine and a curb weight of less than 640 kg, the car will be able to reach 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, onto a top speed of about 150 mph.

2012 Ariel Atom Mugen

We mentioned in the beginning of the article that only 10 units will be produced, but we have to warn you that one was already sold. For those of you interested in the 2012 Ariel Atom Mugen, the price is $78,700.

If you are curious about the Atom’s main competitor, it is the KTM X-Bow, although the cars look very different. Both of them have very similar performance specifications and the KTM X-Bow is fitted with a 240 hp Audi-based 2.0-liter TFSI DOHC engine, offering just about the same performance figures as the Atom Mugen.

2011 G-Power Hurricane GS

After the BMW M6-based Hurricane RR and the M5-based Hurricane RS, G-Power has something new to show us and it is pretty interesting– the Hurricane GS, which is a M5 that has an LPG system. Pretty interesting, don’t you think? Continuing the tradition set by other G-Power cars, the Hurricane GS has already won the title for the fastest LPG car in the world.

The company’s new model has been fitted with a G-POWER SK II bi-supercharges that increased the power of the engine to 660 hp and 650 Nm of torque. With this significant upgrade, the M5-based Hurricane GS will do the 0-60 mph sprint in 4.6 seconds, 0-124 mph in 11.4 seconds, onto a top speed of 201 mph.

Similar to the RS model, the GS now rolls on a brand new set of rims that are more suitable for this kind of performance. The GS has been equipped with 20-inch forged SILVERSTONE CLUBSPORT that measure 9×20 in the front ant 10.5×20 in the back, covered by MICHELIN 255/35 ZR 20 and 285/30 ZR 20 tires. In the back of this M5-based car, G-Power installed their proprietary SPEED-Flow exhaust system.

As mentioned before, the company fitted the Hurricane RS with the impressive G-POWER SK II bi-supercharger system that will allow each of the cylinder banks of the V10 5.0-liter to be fitted with a belt-driven ASA T1-313 compressor. To put things in another perspective, the engine churns 660 hp, enough to make it the fastest LPG car in the world.

In order to efficiently stop this fast car, the GS has been equipped with a high-performance braking system developed by the company as well as a RS coil-over sports suspension that offers 9-way adjustability for rebound and compression plus infinitely variable adjustments.

The car set the world record for the fastest LPG vehicle in the world on August 9, 2010 near the company’s HQ in Autenzell, Germany, on a desolate strip of autobahn. The car succeed to reach a top speed of 201 mph (333 km/h), entering the Guinness World Book.

This new set of wheels costs $9,900 and the price for the entire conversion package will set you back $43,500.

There are no competitors for the 2011 G-Power Hurricane GS at the moment, unless other tuning company decides to create an LPG car capable of reaching 201 mph or more. Maybe AC Schnitzer or Hamann will come up with a similar car, taking into consideration their passion for BMW cars.

Hurst Hemi Challenger Series 5

The Challenger is considered by many as one of the greatest muscle cars in the world, but what does it happen to it if it gets the Hurst treatment? Simple, it gets better. The standard version itself is a true-core muscle car, but by making it even meaner, louder and lower, the result is simply outstanding.

The primary target of the Hurst Challenger is to keep the philosophy of the original car and instead of messing it up; they enhanced the car’s gentleman hotrod core. The pre-production model had a rear spoiler that stuck up similar to a duck’s tail. Luckily, this isn’t a problem anymore as the retail version simply extends back flat from the Challenger’s decklid. In addition, the “Hurst” badge is now history. The car is fitted with massive 20-inch wheels covered by BFG KDW tires, which give the car a very masculine look.

Hurst Hemi Challenger Series 5

Both the white and black versions are equipped with a very powerful 527 hp HEMI engine that has a massive torque of 528 lb-ft. Fitted with an automatic gearbox you simply just have to get in the car, start it and push the pedal to the medal for the ride of your life. Of course, this car was not designed for your daily commute; you would be better off with a BMW 5-Series or other similar cars. The centrifugal Vortex supercharger kicks in similar to a traditional turbo and adds more boost in a progressive matter – the more power you need, the more it will give you, simple as that.

If you leave the driving aids on while you start off in first gear, you will get very accustomed to the traction control lights, if you know what I mean. For pure fun and excitement, turn off all the driving aids and enjoy the raw power of this monster., but be careful as the level of power this has to offer is out of this world.  As far as the suspension is concerned, the Hurst Hemi Challenger Series 5 comes with a high-performance Eibach kit which is fully capable of keeping the vehicle’s weight and mass in check, maintaining it even through turns and steady for those side-to-side inputs.

Hurst Hemi Challenger Series 5

It would be a very bad move to consider this a sports car as it isn’t. Although it is a highly tuned car it still is a proper “Challenger”, which should be able to tell you about the purpose of it and what it is capable of doing. Think of this Hurst Challenger as a toned-down Dodge Viper that has rear seats and a decent trunk, without losing any of the performance of the legendary car. This is the ultimate gentleman’s hot rod and one of the most frightening cars that were ever produced in the US of A.

Anderson Audi Q7

Anderson Germany, a tuning company best known for their Ferrari-based projects has decided to have their take on one of the most popular SUVs out there – the Audi Q7. Based on the V12 TDI Family Edition, the Anderson Q7 comes with a carbon exterior styling package for the roof drip moldings, the mirrorcaps, bordergrill and front- and back diffuser. A shiny black lacquer was used for the logos and the grill gate. The taillights and the panes are darkened and so are the exhaust ends.

Anderson Audi Q7

The Anderson Audi Q7 rolls on black wheels that have a white edge and they measure 10×22-inches, covered by 295/30-22 tires for all four wheels. Taking a closer look behind the rims you will notice the red painted brake calipers. In order to improve the behavior in curves, the Q7 has been fitted with a module that lowers the car. The 12-cylinder power unit under the hood is now 10% more powerful thanks to software optimizations brought and special air cleaners installed. The standard Audi Q7 offers 500 hp which means that with the Anderson tuning program, the V12 engine outputs 550 hp.

Anderson Audi Q7

Carbon-applications were also used inside the cabin for the steering wheel, the edges of the illumination, door handles, armature edges, switching jacks, parking brake grasp and on the ventilation shafts. The trim in the doors, radio screen, speedometer, center console, shift levers, steering wheel and ventilation edges were colored opposite in black. Upholstery is made out of black Alcantara and black leather. The Anderson Q7 got a new dimmable LED floor space lighting that fits perfectly in the front and back into the surrounding field. Modifications were also brought to the child seat which now is capable of orienting itself in such a way at the design of the entire interior.

Dusseldorf-based Anderson Germany has not released yet any information regarding the price of this tuning package for the Audi Q7 V12 TDI.

GWA Tuning Ciento

Here is something that you don’t see every day, a revival of a very interesting 1970s Mercedes-Benz Gullwing prototype that never received the green light for production. GWA Tuning is responsible for this exciting car and they offered a modern flavor to this classic car.

1970 Mercedes C111 II

First of all, let’s talk about the original car developed by the German automaker. In 1970 at the Geneva Auto Show, MB shocked the world with its very bold second C111 experimental test car and people immediately started dreaming about the revival of gullwing Mercs. For those of you that remember this car, it was one of the most sought-after vehicles of the decade, along with the Lamborghini Countach, the legendary Lancia Stratos (a car that also got a revival) and the Porsche Turbo.

Similar to its predecessor, the second iteration had a very lively orange paint which unfortunately isn’t available for the modern SLS.  The car was equipped with a 345 hp rotary power unit that was installed behind the driver and passenger seats and was linked to a 5-speed manual transmission. With its fiberglass body, the C111 II was able to reach 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds, onto a top speed of 186 mph (the magic 300 km/h mark of the 70s).

1970 Mercedes C111 II

Although it was a hit at Geneva, Mercedes didn’t put the car into production because of the power unit. 10 years ago, Dr. Hans Liebold, the guy responsible for this car said that “The Wankel engine was not yet mature enough to be handed over to customers in line with company standards”.

Time to end the history lesson and talk more about the GWA Tuning Ciento Once. The engine under the hood of the car is a powerful 408 hp capable unit that is linked to a 6-speed Cima H type transaxle transmission. The car also benefits from a very special tuned exhaust system, a coil-over suspension while the braking system was borrowed from the Mercedes-Benz S55.

GWA Tuning Ciento

This modern iteration of a classic features a handmade aluminum body and an aerodynamically functional rear diffuser and front spoiler. In addition, it sports an electric-operated rear adjustable wing. With a curb weight of only 1,400 kg and with more than 400 hp under the hood, it should offer enough performance.

Moving inside the car we will find carbon fiber seats along with brushed aluminum pedals as well as illuminated door sills. The wheel-tire configuration is identical to the one found on the Mercedes SLS AMG as in the front you will find 19×9 rims wrapped in 265/35/19 tires and the back wheels measure 20×11, covered by 295/30/20 tires.

The price for this car has not been announced yet because the vehicle is still in its prototype phase. We hope that it will go into production as it is the perfect revival of a very interesting car presented back in the 70s along with other interesting models that changed the automotive world.

REITER Lamborghini Gallardo LP600

REITER Engineering has recently unveiled the Lamborghini Galardo LP600+ racer which benefits from a bundle of upgrades in comparison with the normal version launched by the Italian automaker. The heart of this car is a V10 5211cc power unit that is capable of producing 600 hp @ 8,000 rpm after some serious modifications. The car is equipped with a four overhead camshafts distribution, three water radiators, a variable geometry intake system as well as an OBR – fully programmable, electronic power management. Other important updates brought over the standard model include a new engine bonnet design, new gear ratio, an updated front splitter and a new exhaust system.

Here are some of the most important specifications of the REITER Lamborghini Gallardo LP600, taken from the official press release:

It has a V-10 90 degree engine mid-mounted longitudinal. The distribution consists of four overhead camshafts and the capacity of the power unit is 5211 cc. The bore and stroke level is 84.51 x 92.8 mm and the intake system features variable geometry. The valve gear is chain driven, intake and exhaust continuously variable valve timing (electronically controlled). The 600 hp are available at 8,000 rpm and the cooling system consists of three water radiators that have updated exit ducts forward of front wheels.

REITER Lamborghini Gallardo LP600

The distribution of the weight is 43/57 (front/rear) while the front and rear suspension consist of a REITER Engineering double wishbone. The car rolls on 11 x 18 inch magnesium rims in the front and 12.5 x 18 inch magnesium wheels in the rear. The wheels are covered by 300/650 – 18 Racing tires in the front and 310/710 – 18 Racing tires in the back. Splitter covers complete the frontal under floor of the LP600+.

The price for all of these goodies is 288.500 EUR (+ VAT). A bargain, wouldn’t you say?

Merdad Porsche Cayenne Coupe

First announced back in June 2010, the Merdad Porsche Cayenne Coupe was finally revealed by the company with a couple of live pictures of this interesting 2-door configuration of the Porsche Cayenne SUV. Besides the new body styling, the car has received some engine upgrades as well, very important in our opinion. The coupe conversion package is offered with an impressive 50% increase over the standard engine that produces 493 hp (500 PS / 367 kW) which means that the 4.8-liter V8 engine is now capable of outputting 740 hp (750 PS /  552 kW).

Inside the car, the Merdad Porsche Cayenne Coupe is offered with a red and black theme, Alcantara, leather, lots of suede, a new instrument panel and carbon fiber, basically all the goodies available at the moment in the automotive world. The body kit includes a new front and rear look which in our opinion suit the power increase, side skirts as well as massive and imposing 22-inch rims. According to Merdad, the car is capable of doing the 0-60 mph sprint in just 4, 4 seconds.

Merdad Porsche Cayenne Coupe

This car will be most likely popular among people interested in the Cajun project, which will be a baby Porsche Cayenne. However this model is definitely not a “baby” when we look at the performance of the engine or the aggressive looks. If you are looking for a two-door sport utility vehicle from Porsche, this is the solution for your needs, until something official is launched.

Xenatech Maybach 57S Coupe

If you thought the original Maybach 57 was something to die for, well take a look at the Xenatech Maybach 57S Coupe dubbed “Cruiseiro”. You don’t see every day one of the longest 4-door limos turned into a 2-door sports coupe. The car was developed in close collaboration with the original manufacturer, Maybach, part of the Daimler Group.

The new model received some serious changes in comparison to the 4-door variant as the A-, B- and C-columns had to be completely redesigned for the new look. The hardest job was with the B-column which had to be moved back by 200 mm. The roofline is now sharper and the body was widened. The wheelbase of the car remained the same at an impressive level of 3.39 m. This new design belongs to Burch Fred Hardt, the man who also is the author of another great Maybach design, the Exelero concept (too bad that the car never went into production). From the looks of these pictures you will notice the sporty look of the 57S Coupe, but at the same time it does inspire a very conservative styling, traditional to all Maybachs.

Xenatech Maybach 57S Coupe

Under the hood of the car a massive V12 6.0-liter engine was mounted, an engine that is capable of outputting 603 hp (612 PS / 450 kW) and an incredible torque of 738 lb-ft (1000 Nm). The engine allows the car to do the 0-60 mph sprint in just five seconds, onto a top speed of 171 mph (275 km/h).

With a price tag of $890,000 (675,000 Euros), this won’t be a car for the masses, especially when we take into consideration the fact that only 100 units of the Xenatech Maybach 57S Coupe will be produced. The current orders for the coupe already cover the next 9-12 months for the global markets.

PIECHA Mercedes E Class Convertible

PIECHA Design just revealed their take on the already beautiful Mercedes E-Class Convertible, but unfortunately the car did not receive any extra power, just aesthetic improvements. PIECHA Design is a Mercedes-Benz tuning specialist based in Rottweil and with their latest program, they wanted to give the E-Class Convertible a fresh new look further enhancing the elegant lines of the car.

In the front of the E-Class Convertible, they installed a spoiler lip that supplements the standard AMG styling, increasing the sporty look of the car. At the back, the same successful recipe was applied and the new tail diffuser has perfectly integrated a four-pipe sports exhaust system, replacing the original one developed by Mercedes-Benz. By adding a 3-part spoiler lip on the boot lid, it further increases the beauty of the car and at the same time improves aerodynamics. The new side skirts of the car are now equipped with integrated a LED lightning system, a feature that can be installed on all Mercedes-Benz models, according to the official press release published by the tuner.

As far as the emission control aspect is concerned, the guys over at PIECHA Design installed their own Quadro series system. Their 4-pipe exhaust sub-systems can be fitted for all 4, 6 and 8-cylinder power units, for coupe and convertible models alike. Also available is an exhaust system conversion kit which permits the two oval chrome tail pipe sections to be welded onto the regular sound absorbers.

With this new styling of the Mercedes E-Class Convertible, the engineers installed the 19-inch dp2 Phantom rims. These 8-spoke wheels feature a high-gloss polish stainless steel base and a multi-element look. At the front, the car is equipped with 8.5 x 19-inch wheels wrapped in 235/35 R19 tires while at the back, the E-Class rolls on 9.5 x 19-inch rims covered by 275/30 R19 tires.

PIECHA Mercedes E Class Convertible

For the convertible model and also for other cars produced by Mercedes-Benz that have an electronic accelerator, PIECHA offers a power convertor that is capable of fully canceling out any sort of slow reaction time. With this system, the car is able to accelerate more powerful even when it is at an idling speed. The system has a separate control that can be switched between standard mode, sports mode and urban-driving mode. In addition, the system features a potentiometer which allows the driver to tweak the system in order to adapt it to match the particular type of vehicle as well as the driving style.

For the roof, PIECHA installed the Vario module, a simple plug-and-play solution for the Mercedes E-Class Convertible. With this module, the driver of the car has the ability to open or close the roof of the E-Class while driving at speeds of up to 50 km/h, using only the standard key, without the need to hold the switch or car key pressed all the time.

Here is a price list published by PIECHA in their press release:

CS RC power convertor, 357 Euros; dp2 Phantom rim set, 1,690 Euros; Quadro exhaust sub-system, 1,385 Euros; Comfort Vario roof, 359 Euros; Side skirt LED lightning, 370 Euros; Rear spoiler lip, 430 Euros; Rear diffuser element, 785 Euros and Front spoiler lip, 750 Euros.

HAMANN Lamborghini Gallardo Victory II

The first version of the Hamann Lamborghini Gallardo Victory was launched back in 2007 and now the second iteration of the tuning program has arrived. The new package consists of an updated wide body kit, increased engine output and better handling capabilities. The body of the Gallardo is now broader and the number of the carbon components has significantly increased.

One of the most important features of the car is the Lambo-doors which aren’t available for the standard Gallardo model. Hamann had the great idea (in our opinion) to add them with the occasion of the Victory II tuning program. In addition to the spectacular doors, the tuning package consists of a fresh new front apron in Race-design that has a center carbon part, enhancing the sporty look of the sexy Italian car. The Gallardo Victory II received new fenders in the front as well as fender extensions in the back of it. The air inlet located on the roof and the extended side skirts are available in carbon.

In the back of the Gallardo Victory II you will notice the fresh new design of the rear wing and the diffuser. The rear wing is available in carbon or fiber glass, depending on the choice of the customers. In addition, the people at Hamann can add a carbon layer to the bonnet on top of that. The car now rolls on 20-inch Edition Race wheels that have a special varnish, emphasizing the new fresh and dynamic appearance of the Gallardo. The reduced unsprung masses translate into better handling capabilities as well as a more agile acceleration and safer braking. Hamann recommends the following wheel/tire combination: 9.5Jx20 with 235/30ZR20 tires for the front wheels and 13Jx20 with 325/25ZR20 for the back wheels of the Gallardo.

HAMANN Lamborghini Gallardo Victory II

By adjusting the power unit’s electronics, the Hamann Lamborghini Gallardo Victory II is now capable of outputting 580 hp (427 kW) and an impressive maximum torque of 575 Nm. With this power boost, the car is now capable of reaching a respectable top speed of 328 km/h. By applying an end muffler to the serial end pipes, the massive V10 engine of the car sounds more spectacular than ever.

Moving inside the car, the Hamann Gallardo is fitted with a 14-part carbon set that features various decorative blends, the door openers and the steering wheel. For a perfect seating position, the car is equipped with Hamann sport seats that have a carbon back render. As an optional feature, the upholstery can be offered in a bundle of variations and configurations, depending on the request of the customer. The car is available with personalized floor mats and entire leather upholstery.

The price for the Hamann Lamborghini Gallardo Victory II has not been announced yet.

Carlsson 2011 Mercedes CLS

Today Carlsson unveiled to the world the 2011 Mercedes CLS tuning program that offers various modifications both in style and power. The 350 CGI version of the standard CLS has a power unit capable of developing 306 hp (225 kW) and a 370 Nm torque. With the tuning program the power is boosted to 333 hp and 370 Nm. This power increase translates into a quicker 0-100 km/h, shaving off 0.2 seconds from the 6.1 sec needed for the standard version.

Carlsson has brought modifications to the CLS 350 CDI which now offers 20% more power in comparison to the model developed by Mercedes-Benz. The tuning program allows the engine to develop 320 hp (235 kW) and an impressive 780 Nm of torque, in comparison to the “only” 265 hp / 650 Nm outputted by the standard car. The CLS 350 CDI will do the 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds, just like the petrol version.

Besides these significant power boosts, the Carlsson 2011 Mercedes CLS program brings a fresh new exterior package as well as new rims. The new kit sports a redesigned front spoiler and a spoiler lip that is also available in carbon fiber, an updated hood and mudguards as well as stainless steel grille inserts. The back of the CLS benefits from a new apron with an integrated diffuser.

The new front spoiler (including the RS front spoiler lip), gives “an athletic look for the luxurious saloon”. The front apron of the Carlsson CLS features LED fog lamps that are 80% more energy-efficient in comparison to the standard lamps and fit in a very natural matter with the Xenon headlights along with the standard LED daytime running lights of the 2011 CLS.

Carlsson 2011 Mercedes CLS

The dynamic transformation of the car is continued with the side mouldings that feature built-in air inlets. The rear apron of the CLS sports a built-in diffuser that functions as a tailplane, and the rear spoiler guarantees the needed extra downforce as well as a better contact with the road. More than that, the two oval tailpipes and the stainless steel rear silencer output a very nice sound, typical to Carlsson. These stainless steel pipes can be acquired separately.

Both of the performance kits offered by Carlsson meet the EURO 5 exhaust emission standards. The price for the tuning program (Carlsson C-Tronic DIESEL POWER) offered for the CLS 350 CDI is 1785 Euro, including VAT.

The new design of the alloy rims developed by Carlsson, enhance the sporty look of the car while at the same time offering new stylish contours to the aerodynamics package. The Carlsson 1/10 rim is available in three colors and in a combination of five simple and five double spokes. Rolf Schlepp is the chief designer at Carlsson and he is responsible with the design of the new wheels. The three colors available for the rims are: Graphite Grey, Brilliant Silver and Titanium Silver. All of these versions are offered in the following wheel dimensions: 8.5×19, 8.5×20, 9.5×19 and 10.5×20, at a starting price of 2569 Euro (including top brand tires).

In order to offer an excellent road handling, the CLS is packed with the proprietary C-Tronic SUSPENSION in combination with the standard AIRMATIC suspension of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS. This clever suspension system allows the car to be lowered by up to 30 mm and at the same time, it will continuously monitor the situation on the road. Depending on the available road conditions, this controlling device will adapt to the residual spring travel which translates into optimum comfort as well as great driving dynamics.

Modifications were also brought to the interior of the 2011 CLS, and the Carlsson tuning package includes an Alcantara sporting wheel, velours foot mats that have the Carlsson logo, pedals and foot rest made out of brushed aluminum and logo branded matching boot; all of them offering the car a very stylish and dynamic look.

Novitec Fiat 500 Abarth

A few weeks ago, the aftermarket specialists from Novitec launched their upgrade program details of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This isn’t their first take on the 500, as in 2008 Novitec launched a tuning program for the non-Abarth 500. The Novitec Fiat 500 Abarth is powered by the same 1.4-liter T-Jet 4-cylinder engine but is fitted with the NT4-CORSE power kit. With this kit, the engine is capable of producing 57 kW / 77 hp more than the standard 156 kW / 212 hp and a 325 Nm torque achieved at 3,400 rpm. The tuning program is available also with power outputs starting from 121 kW / 164 hp.

The kit for the 57 kW / 77 hp will set you back 3,016 Euros and consists of a special turbocharger, an optimized air-cleaner box with a sport air-filter cartridge, a special fuel pressure control, larger injection nozzles, the NOVITEC CORSE high performance exhaust system and a more efficient fresh air supply. More than that, the electronics of the Fiat 500 Abarth have been upgraded with the addition of the NOVITEC POWERJET 2 auxiliary control unit.

With this power increase, the Fiat 500 Abarth is able to do the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.8 seconds and can reach a respectable top speed of 223 km/h. The torque has also increased from the standard 206 Nm to 325 Nm @ 3,400 rpm. The tuning program offers the NOVITEC stainless-steel sport mufflers and the high performance exhaust systems that are available with either one or two tailpipes (available in various shapes), giving the Abarth 500 a very exciting look in the back, an optimized performance and a more powerful engine.

For the turbocharged model, NOVITEC offers some upgrades to the suspension of the car. Some of these modifications include the sport springs that will lower the 500’s height by approximately 35 mm, as well as the adjustable sport suspension that is made out of stainless steel and it features stiffer gas-pressure shocks, allowing a more agile handling.

The tuning program for the car also includes the custom one-piece N10 light alloy rims that are available in either 17-inch or 18-inch dimensions. The rims are wrapped in 215/40 R 17 tires, for both front and back wheels. As an optional feature, the rims can be purchased with a silver polish or they can have a matte black pattern. The starting price for these wheels is 1,106 Euros (including tires).

Some exterior upgrades will come with this tuning package, like the front spoiler lip which is made from carbon and is attached to the underside of the normal front fascia. The refined shape of the front spoiler offers important aerodynamic advantages, reducing the lift on the car’s front axle and further improves the stability of the direction at high speeds. To complete the sporty looks of the Novitec Abarth Fiat 500 Abarth, the lateral turn signals are black-tinted.

According to the NOVITEC press release, further tuning options for the Fiat 500 Abarth are in preparation and the company also offers a comprehensive customization program for all of the car’s versions.
