VATH V63

The tuners from Vath Automobiltechnik located in Hoesbach, Germany have worked on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe and they’ve come up with this beast which they’ve named the VATH V63. The regular AMG version of the car is capable of producing 480 hp (487 PS / 358 kW) and 443 lb.-ft (600 Nm) which for some would be more than enough.

The German engineers had a different opinion and they’ve increased the output of the engine to 670 hp (680 PS / 500 kW) and a peak torque of 620 lb.-ft (840 Nm). Thanks to the power boost, the C63 AMG Coupe by VATH is able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 4 seconds, en route to a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h).

They’ve managed to increase the output of the engine by installing new headers, a stainless steel exhaust system, a water cooled supercharger, oil coolers on the engine and trans, high-flow catalytic converters and revising the management of the engine.

They also worked on the car’s aerodynamics and installed a new front spoiler as well as a rear diffuser which has enlarged fins. Both of these components have been manufactured form carbon fiber. The exterior also features quarter panel wheel extensions that widen the track by 80 mm, along with a boot lid spoiler.

It rides on a new set of three-spoke VATH 9×20-inch forged wheels with 225/30-20 tires in the front and 11×20-inch forged rims at the back that are covered in 295/25-20 tires. The stiffness of the car is now adjustable, just like the coilover suspension which allows for a drop between 20 to 65 mm.

Inside the cabin, the VATH V63 comes with a new speedometer dial that goes all the way up to 360 km/h, a carbon trimmed interior as well as leather upholstered sports steering wheel.

Without the car, the tuning program will set you back 64,308 Euros.

Mercedes CLS63 AMG By VATH

The latest aftermarket program developed by the tuners from Vath is for the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG and the first thing that they did to this gorgeous four-door coupe is increase the displacement of the engine to 5.461 liters. After that, they’ve fitted the car with a V63RS power kit which lifts the power output to 660 hp (484 kW) and a massive peak torque of 960 Nm.

With so much oomph under the hood, it’s no wonder that the CLS63 AMG by Vath needs only 3.9 seconds to do the 0-62 mph sprint, on its way to a maximum speed of 325 km/h. Moreover, the high-performance coupe hits 200 km/h in only 12 seconds.

This tuning program also consists of a sports exhaust system and an optimized charge air cooler system. All of these goodies can be yours if you are willing to pay 12,800 Euros.

They also can install a new suspension kit for the CLS63 AMG which will set you back an additional 980 Euros. This system can bring the car closer to the ground between 20 mm and 40 mm. Other than that, for 590 Euros you can opt for upgraded brakes with flexible steel lines, or a brand new set of 20-inch alloys that cost a hefty 6,337 Euros. In addition, Vath can also install on your Mercedes CLS63 AMG a front spoiler for 1,490 Euros, a rear diffuser for 1,490 Euros and a trunk-lip spoiler for 1,480 Euros.

As far as the interior cabin is concerned, the car gets a new speedometer that goes all the way up to 360 km/h, along with a bunch of black carbon fiber parts and a new sports steering wheel.

Mercedes CL63 AMG By VATH

The engineers from VATH have released this week their tuning program for the Mercedes CL63 AMG, the new version that comes with the all-new V8 5.5-liter bi-turbo engine. They’ve managed to increase its output to 630 hp (463 kW) and a massive torque of 930 Nm. Thanks to this impressive power, the car is able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 4.3 seconds, en route to a maximum speed of 300 km/h. To get these specs, they’ve installed a new engine management system and a new exhaust.

More muscles under the hood require better brakes and the car has them as the ones on the CL63 AMG have received steel tubes, a recalibrated Active Body Control (ABC) system and Castrol SRF brake fluid. The car rides on big 20-inch rims and also features carbon fiber side mirror coverings as well as a radiator cover. In addition, they’ve installed a new trunk lid spoiler and a rear diffuser.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG by VATH

If you thought that the Mercedes SLS AMG can’t get more power from its 6.3-liter engine, you’re wrong. The German tuner VATH has decided to roll out their own version of the sexy AMG version of the SLS, managing to increase the power to 607 hp (615 PS / 452 kW) and 501 lb.-ft (680 Nm), up from the standard 563 hp (571 PS / 420 kW). Thanks to these upgrades, the car can do the 0-60 mph sprint in only 3.3 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

To get that extra oomph from the engine, VATH installed a high-performance exhaust that features a pneumatic valve system, allowing the driver of the SLS AMG to control the exhaust sound himself from the cockpit. The sexy coupe now sits on VATH’s 9.5Jx20-inch (front) and 11.5Jx20-inch (back) wheels, covered by 265/30ZR20 and 315/25ZR20 tires. In comparison to the standard version, this VATH-tuned SLS AMG has been lowered by 25 mm.

Design-wise, not much has changed and this can only be a good thing as the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. The German engineers installed a new front lip spoiler that offers more downforce on the car’s front axle, along with a boot lid spoiler and side skirts.

Inside the cabin, we find a sport steering wheel wrapped around in leather, a new speedometer that reads up to 400 km/h, black floor mats with the tuner’s logo and door trimming in leather.

VATH Mercedes CL500

I think this is the most beautiful car we’ve seen this year and finally a tuning program that we really like. The popular German tuners from VATH decided to take the exquisite Mercedes CL500 and boost its power output and also do some updates as far as the exterior look is concerned. The car retained its original 5.5-liter engine, but it now develops a whopping 460 hp and 600 Nm of torque, thanks to the new sport camshafts, air filters, stainless steel sport catalysts, manifolds, and the new rear silencer.

They also deactivated the car’s top speed limiter which means that you can take it all the way to 290 km/h. The tuning program also consists of a complete body kit that includes a new front spoiler, rear diffuser, and a trunk-lip spoiler – all of them made from carbon fiber. In addition, the VATH CL500 sits on an exquisite set of 20-inch forged rims, covered by 245/30ZR20 tires for the front wheels and 285/25ZR20 for the ones in the back.

VATH has also installed a three-way adjustable sports suspension, along with a performance braking system, while in the cabin you’ll find a new sport steering wheel, various car trim parts and a new 360 km/h speedometer.
