General Motors has confirmed earlier this week the upcoming Opel/Vauxhall Junior. As you would expect, the Vauxhall Adam will be sold in the United Kingdom while the Opel Adam will be available in the rest of Europe. With this occasion, Vauxhall has published a couple of “spy shots” with the Adam along with a comic book-like press release that unveils some of the details about the upcoming model.
One of the first things we’ve learned is that the customers will be able fully personalize their car by choosing the design of both the interior and exterior. The car will make its official debut this September at the Paris Motor Show and it is scheduled to go on sale towards the end of this year or in early 2013.
Designed for the crowded cities, the Opel/Vauxhall Adam is a small three-door hatchback that will be motivated by a series of efficient power units, including here a 1.0-liter, 1.4-liter and a 1.6-liter engine. The car will get both diesel and gasoline engines, while later on in its lifecycle we might even see a high performance version of the car.
