The 2011 BMW M3 is one of the coolest cars ever made. What happens if you tune it? It gets better. The guys over at VF Engineering took the latest generation of the M3 and made a couple of changes, the most significant one would be under the hood.

The foundation for this project was a Vorsteiner carbon fiber GTRS3 widebody kit. They’ve added a brand new set of 20-inch rims, a custom intake manifold craved from a solid black aluminum and new Brembo brakes.

The most important change would have to be under that beautiful hood. The car’s V8 engine was upgraded with a Vortech supercharger. In addition, the M3 also got a custom aluminum air intake and a remap of the ECU. The result? The engine offers now 620 hp which is a whopping 200 hp more in comparison to the standard version!
