A woman from Michigan is suing the company which produced the “Drive” movie and the theater where she watched it for the fact that she considers the trailer misled her to believe the movie is going to be just like “Fast and Furious”, with all the street-racing, drifting and adrenaline. Which it was not.

The result? She got into court, citing the violation of Michigan’s Consumer Protection Act by promoting the movie using such a disingenuous ad. The woman wants her money for watching the movie back, and the end of all “misleading trailers” – this is why she created the Crusade for Integrity at the Movie Places and any of us who has passed through the same situation can join her fight.

This is the accused trailer:

Some consider this lawsuit frivolous, some think it’s a stupidity, but as hilarious as it sounds, it can be a start for something to be done when it comes to great advertising for really bad movies.
Personally, I don’t think that’s the case, but everyone should follow its own opinion.

Was “Driver” trailer misleading for you too?

Don’t worry, it was just a prank! A woman from Singapore was the subject of a camera prank and had her BMW 1 Series Coupe switched with a Performance Power Lit and an upgraded exhaust system in the parking lot, while the woman was probably at work. By the time she wanted to leave with her car, the vehicle, which was no longer on the spot she left it, had been already switched with another one, having the plates and other interior accessories changed from the old car.

Here is the video showing you how it actually happened:

Would you like being involved into a prank including your car?

I don’t know which is the right interpretation of the video bellow. Yet, my personal opinion is that it is an interesting way of using black humor to send a message about the consequences of driving at high speed.

So, on one hand, it promotes not driving at high speed, in order to have enough time to avoid a pedestrian crossing the street. On the other hand, its message is about driving recklessly, as not every pedestrian is a good person (in this case, the injured person is Hitler).

Coincidence or not, a woman is driving (probably another way of using a stereotype to express their point of view).

There’s the video:

What do you think that was the idea of the video?

It comes a time (most times around 30) when a woman has to take her faith of lonely soul in her hands and do something to change her status from “single” to “into a relationship”, and not only on Facebook, but actually in real life. And, even more important, is to find a man who to be selfish enough not to share his “masculinity” with other women in the same time with being your “so called” exclusive partner. This is why we thought to take advantage of the Carwoo suggestions of new cars for single guys to help women to spot the perfect man for a real relationship.

So, dear ladies, if you ever see one of these cars on the streets with a man driving, you should take into consideration the fact that man could be single and looking:

Chevy Volt

Range Rover Evoque

Dodge Challenger

Chevy Camaro

Audi A5

BMW 3 Series

Nissan 370Z

Cadillac CTS Coupe

Honda CR-Z

Ford Focus ST

Toll booths can be a pain sometimes, but usually people just pay up and go on their merry way.

A woman leaving the Dallas airport parking lot decided that she shouldn’t pay up. Instead, she went all Dukes of Hazzard-style and tried to jump the car over the toll booth.

The result, as you can imagine, was a pretty severe crash, with the model, a Chevrolet Impala, bursting into flames when it hit the ground.

Luckily for her, she only sustained a fractured wrist. The driver claimed she was rear ended, but police say that there is no evidence to support that. Plus, after taking the breathalyzer, it was clear that she had a few too many duty-free drinks.

Still, the footage is pretty awesome to watch, so hit the jump and check out this modern day, female version of the Dukes of Hazzard.

Opel announced that next year, probably next spring it will start selling the new generation of Opel Agila. The new “midget” from Opel looks cute (compared to the actual Agila, which can compete anytime for the world’s ugliest car) and I think women will adore this car.

The mini car will have five doors and it will allow users to fold down the back seats to accommodate a class-leading 1150L of storage space. The next generation Opel Agila will come equipped with three new engines; a 1.0L 3-cylinder (65hp) and a 1.2L four-cylinder with 86hp, both petrol engines, and a 1.3L CDTi with 75 hp(like the one on the actual Corsa). An automatic gearbox option will be available for the first time but only for 1.2L versions.

As for safety, which is important on these small cars, the Agila will come equipped with four airbags as well as an optional ESP (Electronic Stability Program). The new Opel Agila will debut at this year’s Frankfurt motor show in September and we expect the final pricing to be announced in the first half of next year. Click read more to see more pics of the car.
